Three the Hard Way

With the horror classics getting a nick and tuck, I thought it would be neat if a exit plan was created for the major three: Freddy, Mikey Myers, and Jason. Since we don't have one for Iraq, why not for our three boys. To be honest, there are too many movies between the three. They need to end them, don't make remakes, and try something new.

Here are my final movie summaries to end the all three series.

Halloween: John Tate, Laurie's son, wants answers about his murderous uncle and the Thorn curse. He contacts Daniel Strode and his adopted sister, 17 year old, Lauren to help him end the family nightmare. After an awkward family gathering, they all travel to Santa Mira, California, where Michael was last seen. Once they arrived, they learn that Thorn isn't a curse, but another family that has harbored an old vendetta against the Myers family. Once the Thorns' plan is revealed, the last of Myers clan must fight against ancient magicks and the man who has terrorized their family for over 30 years. Plus Jamie Lloyd and Tommy Doyle returns.

Nightmare of Elm Street: Freddy has failed for the last time. The Dream Demons decide to send a new bogeyman to the town of Springfield. Jacob Jordan and Dr. Maggie Burroughs recognizes the signs and set out to battle this demon. But Freddy isn't pleased with the Dream Demons' choice and with a few tricks of his own, seeks revenge, with the people of Springfield caught in the middle. Now Jacob and Maggie will use every trick in the book to end the nightmare once and for all. And who is the Dream Keeper? And what is her connection to Freddy?

Friday the 13th: Pamela's desperate plea caused 20+ years of horror in Camp Crystal Lake. But there's more behind her vengeful rage or Jason's resurrections. There is a death curse, buried deep in the grounds of the camp. A paranormal group led by the telekinetic, Tina Shepard, decides discover the truth behind Jason and camp grounds. But they quickly learn that Jason's is only a vessel. The real evil is ancient and far more darker than they could ever imagine. With the help of Tommy Jarvis and Jessica Kimble, the team will try to survive the night at Camp Blood and destroy the legendary death curse forever.

So that's my ideas, just some stuff I was thinking of at work. They may not be the best but, hey, after all these years of bad plots and revamps, maybe the end is good.

A few things:

1) Thank you for your comment on my blog. I get a lot of readers that e-mail me about it instead of commenting. So thank you! It is good advice.

2) I am a HUGE fan of horror and I like the closings you gave the 3 classics. Although the Friday the 13th one is a bit campy, but then again.. whats a good horror flick without the camp value? :)

3) Best of the bad... I love Xanadu. Made me want to roller skate in a disco. Funny enough thats the "Bartenders Song" for the end of the night at the club I work for. LOL. You get an add to my list of Blogs!

Have you read the Friday the 13th comic? It is pretty good! Xanadu rocks!

I love your closure to the classics... We would get so many answers that, sadly, have been buried in the pile of very attractive dead bodies and Busta Rhymes.

I agree we need to end them. No more Freddy, Jason, Michael and the Predator vs. Alien.

Jason is boring and michal is just dumb. However I have always thought freddy was the best horror character ever because despite the odd one liners that gave the movies strange humor, freddy gets you when you are the weakest. Everyone has had nightmares, and the idea that you will die in real life if he gets you is much scarier than michael or jason. In reality Michael would have died long ago. And jasons kills lack imagionation.
I started watching the elmstreet series in like 3rd or 4th grade. I'm really looking forward to seeing the remake. I read the movie will be much darker than the originals. And that they are planning a triloigy.

Pardon the spelling. My brain is dead today.
