Pastor Steven L. Anderson Wants Obama To Die Of Brain Cancer: "Like Ted Kennedy"

Great Hera!

The Marvel/Disney shack-up details

Since this morning's news, more details are released. Here they are:
  • Existing licensing and distribution deals should remain where they are.
  • Disney believes there’s real opportunity with the Marvel catalog of characters and will work on where those opportunities are greatest and how best to leverage them across the existing Marvel and Disney infrastructure.
  • Disney executives went to great lengths during the call to make the point that they don’t pretend to be more expert than Marvel is in handling their characters, citing the hands-off relationship Disney has had with Pixar since the acquisition of that studio. Disney said Marvel manages the properties from a business perspective very intelligently and trusts them to make the right decisions for these products for a long time to come.
  • Disney said the deal was attractive not just because they’re buying great characters, stories and brand, but about working with people who know these characters best and how best to work with them in other media.
  • Again, referencing the Pixar deal, Disney finds working as one company with Marvel removes friction and creates value that’s very compelling. Licensing offers very attractive opportunities, but nothing is better than being one. International expansion of Marvel properties through Disney was cited as a potential growth area.
  • Cable channel Disney XD is currently running about 20 hours a week of Marvel content and Disney has been looking to license more Marvel content and this deal gives them that opportunity as well as the opportunity to expose these characters internationally.<.li>
  • With regards to video game publishing, Disney praised Marvel’s licensing agreements with some of the best video game producers and publishers in the business and said moving forward they will consider what’s best for each individual property as each licensing deal comes up for renewal and that there would likely be a blend of licensed and self-produced/self-distributed titles.
  • With respect to Paramount’s distribution deal with Marvel and the Iron Man franchise, Disney has every intention to respect the deal that’s in place, but noted that it’s in their best interest, overtime, to become the sole distributor of Marvel films.
  • Will Disney3D be used for Marvel movies? That will be determined by those who are in charge of producing Marvel’s theatrical films.
  • When asked if there was potential for cross-polination between Marvel and Pixar, Disney said that Pixar’s John Lasseter has met with key Marvel creative executives recently and the group got “pretty excited, very fast.” Disney will look at all opportunities and thinks there are some exciting product that could come from this sort of partnership.
  • Disney said this deal is expected to benefit Marvel’s retail efforts, being able to leverage Disney’s shelf space and relationships with major chains and distributors.
  • The deal began when Disney Chief Executive Bob Iger reached out to Marvel Chief Executive Ike Perlmutter earlier this year. Again, Disney noted that they believe in the creative team at Marvel and see no reason to upset that applecart.
  • Disney has not made any real estate decisions and sees no reason to move Marvel Studios from their headquarters in Manhattan Beach, California. No mention of Marvel Publishing’s offices in New York City was made.

Carrie Prejean is trying to sue Miss California USA

The failed beauty queen has filed the lawsuit against Shanna Moakler and Keith Lewis for religious discrimination, defamation, public disclosure of private facts, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and negligent infliction of emotional distress.

Really? Okay Carrie, let's see how you played a part in this.

  • appearing in NOM's ads.
  • going on talk shows, whining about your foolishness.
  • going on Fox News.
  • taking sexy pics and lied about their existence.
  • giving interviews to any and everyone.
  • not fulfilling your duties a Miss Cali.
This lawsuit is riddled in malarkey and desperation. Carrie, just stop... Please!

Interesting Quote: David Brody

Let me first say that the reason I decided to post this is to expose this guy as a looney. CNN and other media outlets have reported it so it has gained a decent amount of traction. You may say this guy isn't worth reporting on but The Brody File sees it as a moment to clarify the difference between true Bible believing Christians and crazies like Anderson. It should be noted that while there is an argument to be made against President Obama's policies on abortion and other matters, there just is no place for this type of talk. Not from the pulpit, pews or anywhere else for that matter. For people skeptical of Evangelical Christians, I post this story so you fully understand that you SHOULD NOT lump Steve Anderson into the group of Bible believing Christians. His message is absolutely empty of God's grace and mercy. God doesn't want pastors or anybody for that matter to pray for someone's death. God is looking to give people the free gift of eternal life and have people join him in His kingdom forever.

Mary, Mary quite a silly, foolish and lost mess-ary

Mary Cheney donated $1000 to Rep. Rob Portman, a Senate wantabee who voted against gay marriage and allowing gay couples to adopt children in the D.C.

I'm lost with this choice of hers, but you never know these days.

Cheney’s donation is remarkable considering her public comments on same-sex marriage and gay adoption. In 2004, she reportedly considered quitting her father’s re-election campaign after President Bush endorsed a federal marriage banning gay marriage. In 2007, she rebuked televangelist James Dobson for comments criticizing gay couples’ adoption.

“Every piece of remotely responsible research that has been done in the last 20 years has shown there is no difference between children raised by same-sex parents and children raised by opposite-sex parents,” Cheney said. “What matters is being raised in a stable, loving environment.”

“When Heather and I decided to have a baby, I knew it wasn’t going to be the most popular decision,” Cheney added. “This is a baby. This is a blessing from God. It is not a political statement. It is not a prop to be used in a debate, on either side of a political issue. It is my child.”

Good grief

NOM's ethics are in Question in Iowa

So check this...NOM started their Reclaim Iowa Project, an initiative to push a constitutional amendment that would overturn gay marriage in the state.

They also footed $86,068 of ads for Grizzly Adams (Stephen Burgmeier), a cretin who wants to put gay marriage up to a vote. However, there's a issue the Iowa ethics officials found interesting. NOM is not considered a political group, but with such huge support of Stephen, they may be violating campaign finance laws. So the ethics group sent NOM a letter questioning their involvement.

The letter from the Iowa Ethics and Campaign Disclosure Board to NOM executive director Brian Brown, dated August 27, warns NOM that it will need to register as a political action committee if people make donations of more than $750 for “express advocacy activities.” It also clarifies that NOM will need to disclose its donors, in spite of the organization’s reported promise of anonymity to contributors.

“The independent expenditure process in Iowa is not a vehicle to shield political contributions,” says the letter.

NOM is also being questioned about its activities in Maine, where it provides support to Stand for Marriage Maine, the group that succeeded in placing a referendum on the new marriage equality law on the November ballot.

This group has other request for their financial records as well. You would think with Maggie's Ivy league degree, they would be prepared for this.

Marvel + Disney = Fear in this Comic Book fan

I'm not sure how I feel about this piece of news right now, but I fear for the worst.

The Walt Disney Co. claims it is acquiring Marvel Entertainment Inc. for $4 billion in cash and stock. In other words, they want to bring Ororo, Jean Grey and The Wasp into the Disney family and make them princesses.

Then, there's this...
Under the deal, Disney will acquire ownership of 5,000 Marvel characters. Disney said Monday that Marvel shareholders will receive $30 per share in cash plus 0.745 Disney shares for every Marvel share they own.

It said the boards of Disney and Marvel have both approved the transaction, but it requires an antitrust review and the approval of Marvel shareholders.

I feel like Disney will make Dr. Doom and Mr. Sinister best friends and the Fantastic Four a family that fights for love and peace in the kingdom. I hope the shareholders stand their ground and make tight demands.

I mean, look at Spider-Man the musical, that's enough to convince me this could be a bad idea.

Jon Voight has Completely Lost it

Funny, how he never thought of Bush or Cheney this way

Robert King and the rest of you hateful pastors... Stay out of our way!

These pastors just don't get it. Instead of uplifting the community and battling the inequality of education and the quality of life in D.C., these fools continue chasing a dream.

They still think they are going to stop gay marriage.

Please D.C. LGBT community, rise up and let your voices be heard. Let them know that you will have marriage equality.

Another Senseless Transgender Death

More tragedy in our Trans family.

Last week, Tyli'a "NaNa Boo" Mack was found with many stab wounds on a sidewalk; within 3o minutes, she was dead.

Now, her family are looking for witnesses to help solve this senseless murder.

The family of a 21-year-old transgender woman who was stabbed to death on a Northwest Washington street appealed Thursday for witnesses to come forward and help police identify a suspect in the case.

Mack was pronounced dead about 30 minutes later at Howard University Hospital, police said. A second victim, whom police did not identify, was taken to a nearby hospital and was in stable condition and expected to survive her injuries.

Acting Lt. Brett Parson, who oversees the D.C. police's Gay & Lesbian Liaison Unit, said homicide investigators working on the case listed the incident as a "possible" hate crime.

"This determination is based on some information obtained during the early stages of the investigation that indicated some homophobic language may have been used during the attack," Parson said. "This determination is only preliminary and the final determination as to motive will be developed as the investigation continues."

Police on Wednesday released a flyer displaying a photo of Mack and announcing they were offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for her death.

The family held a candlelight vigil to commemorate her life. I hope someone comes forward.

How to RUIN a Horror Series: Halloween 3D?

I am done, y'all, done.

After reading this, I'm lost for words.

There's another Halloween coming out in the summer of 2010. However, this one may be different...

The independent studio's co-Chairman Bob Weinstein said today that the 3-D sequel, titled, appropriately enough, "Halloween 3D," is in development.

The investment it takes to shoot movies in digital 3-D has proved particularly lucrative for horror films. For "The Final Destination," this weekend's No. 1 movie, theaters with at least one 3-D screen earned 3.25 times as much as those that showed the movie in 2-D only, according to distributor Warner Bros. That's substantially higher than for other recent releases

Weinstein said Rob Zombie, who directed "Halloween II" and 2007's reboot of the 31-year-old horror series, won't return for "Halloween 3-D." He said the studio is in negotiations with a new director, whom he declined to name, who has experience in horror and has a "different take" on the franchise.

What the FRAK? A different take? After 8 movies, 2 Rob Zombie-styled flicks and several comic books, the studio believes there's a different take? And to make this a 3D movie is like making it a cheap county fair ride.

I am Michael Myers-ed out! They have bastardized the character, the movie and magic of this series. Michael is no longer The Shape, he is Toucan Sam. Just a character to put on a poster and a DVD box. This is heart-breaking, I know it sounds weird to say that about a Horror movie, but to destroy this series in the name of greed is too much.

This series should end! If I could, I would write the FINAL Halloween. In respect of John Carpenter's work, I would want this movie series to bow out gracefully.

What else can they do?

And why do they want to continue?

Is originality that dead?

Folks preferred Death over a Killer Holiday Maniac

Maybe this is will convince Rob to leave the Halloween series alone. It came in 3rd place, the twice as stupid, The Final Destination hit number 1, with Inglourious Basterds holding on in 2nd place.
Warner Bros. and New Line's "The Final Destination" in 3-D was the destination of choice at the weekend box office, easily beating the Weinstein Co.'s "Halloween II" in grossing $28.3 million from 3,121 runs on the strength of the upcharge for a 3-D ticket.

"Halloween" grossed $17.4 million from 3,025 theaters to come in No. 3, behind "Destination" and the Weinstein Co.'s own "Inglourious Basterds," which held well and placed No. 2 in its second sesh.

I saw both failed Horror flicks in earlier screenings and I realized that Horror is in a State of Emergency.

Interesting Quote: Lauren Bacall

"Yes, I saw Twilight - my granddaughter made me watch it, she said it was the greatest vampire film ever. After the 'film' was over I wanted to smack her across her head with my shoe, but I do not want a (tell-all) book called Grannie Dearest written on me when I die. So instead I gave her a DVD of Murnau's 1922 masterpiece Nosferatu and told her, 'Now that's a vampire film!' And that goes for all of you! Watch Nosferatu instead!"

Birthday Un-Surprise

One morning, the cats were playing with some rolly thing in our guest bedroom. Whatever they were playing with kept banging against the wall, making this loud noise.

It was 5 AM, so my partner, Jamie, got up to see what it was.

About 5 minutes later, he returned with a glowing ball and said the cats were playing with it under the bed. Then, he thank me for his birthday gift, which I had hidden under the guest bed (his b-day is this Tuesday).

That gift is the Enterprise E model, a Star Trek space ship.

Yes, we are both geeks.

Happy 51st, Michael Jackson

Alcee Hastings, Stop writing Letters and start Working on the DADT repeal!

Rep. Alcee Hastings wrote a letter to President Obama reminding him to get on DADT. Alcee is “deeply disappointed” that DADT has not been repealed.

But I wonder, is Alcee involved with Patrick Murphy and the others working the repeal? I'm sensing that there's a disconnect somewhere.

If one group is working on the tedious pieces of the law and others are just writing letters, should these folks get together somewhere down the line? Is Alcee even involved in the overall all process? Writing letters to the president ain't cutting it, honey. You have to get into the groove with the others folks working on the policy. I'm not understanding this letter writing thing.

Alcee said that he hasn't heard a response. Well, maybe if you quit passing notes and get to work, maybe some of your questions can be answer.

Alcee, a turkey don't get cooked by just writing down the ingredients, you need to get into the kitchen and start seasoning the meat.

Rob Zombie wants to remake The Blob

Why? Why? Whyyy is this happening? I like Rob Zombie, I'm a fan, but why?
Zombie will write, direct and produce a remake of the 1958 horror classic that launched the career of Steve McQueen. Production will begin next spring.

Zombie's deal to make "The Blob" his next film comes as Dimension opens "Halloween II," the Zombie-directed sequel to his 2007 hit "Halloween."

In the original "Blob," an object from space crashes into a field, containing a red blob-like substance that absorbs the humans it contacts and grows exponentially. While Zombie was a fan of the original, he's formulated a decidedly different take that he would not reveal.

"My intention is not to have a big red blobby thing -- that's the first thing I want to change," Zombie said. "That gigantic Jello-looking thing might have been scary to audiences in the 1950s, but people would laugh now."

Rob wants update the already updated Blob movie?

I can't tell you why, but I will say that I'm so inspired to buy the new Final Draft script writing software. I can't sit here and take this madness anymore.

Jimmy Dean get Justice in Texas

There's still hope in Texas.

Last year, Jimmy Dean was beaten badly by this dick drip, Bobby Singleton and some other cretin. Bobby and that guy left Jimmy with a broken back, facial disfigurement, no sense of smell and continuous daily pain.

However, in court yesterday, a jury sentenced Bobby 75 years in prison and his sidekick also received time. While the verdict was read, Bobby showed no emotional reaction at all.

But he will soon... In prison.

Okay, enough of my "meanness"... Jimmy was somewhat shocked...

Dean said afterward that he was overwhelmed by the jury's decision. He said he thought there might only be one juror who thought Singleton should get the 60 years prosecutors requested for aggravated robbery.

"I think it shows the jury does understand," Dean said. "It makes the next two people who go into any neighborhood, and pick out anyone, think twice."

He also said the verdict gives him "faith in people" and said the days are gone when criminals received a lesser sentence because the victim is gay.

"This sets a precedence for anything like this that happens," Dean said. "Maybe this will set a standard for anybody, no matter what your sexual orientation is, a violent crime is a violent crime."

That's so true, Jimmy.

I just saw Halloween 2 and...

I just saw Halloween 2... And I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. I didn't completely hate, but I didn't love it either.

However, I will keep my review semi-vague by using pros and cons

Pros
  • Love the use of the mother and the White Horse. Throughout the movie, you see Michael's mother in a ghostly haze pulling a white horse. It's suppose to be a symbol peace in Michael's head.
  • Rob's use of music is always great.
  • You felt the small town aura of Haddonfield and chill of the fall season.
  • Love Danielle Harris... She will always be Jamie.
Cons
  • Laurie was no Sidney Prescott. She was a bit whiny and boring. But the actress playing her is great.
  • It's a year later and Michael is coming back. But where did he go? Why did he leave? It didn't make since for him to leave town for a year without completing his dark mission.
  • He's shot in the head! How do you come back from that?
  • I understands that Michael kills to kill, but it seems Michael was killing to eat up the spare time in the flick. Some of his kills didn't make sense for the story's sake. (i.e. The stripper club scene, the van scene and the hillbilly scene)
  • Michael spent a good chunk of the flick just walking to Haddonfield and killing folks along the way... And eating a dog for a midnight snack.
  • This movie made a mockery out the Dr. Loomis character. I was highly disappointed in how he was portrayed. He was like Gale Weathers from Scream.
  • I hate the giant version of Michael Myers, I wish he was just above average build.
  • Although they tried to give Michael a purpose for killing, it was easily lost half way into the movie.
  • The opening dream scene was way too long.
  • Laurie goes insane in the end, which could've been drawn out better.
  • The feel of Halloween was not there. This was far removed from the original, and that wasn't a good thing.
There was something not so complete about this movie. I left the theater feeling cheated and teased. It could have been better and we could've gotten more. I hope this is it. I think this re-imagining thing has ran its course.

Is Glenn Beck about to be Canned?

This sounds like a secession speech. Have the "powers to be" spoken? Or is this plot to save himself? Stay tuned.

Are some of the fallthroughs in National Equality March a sign?

Not so good news about the National Equality March.

There are some reports about things not coming together, like speakers, initiatives and talking points. Now, I just read about this issue.

It appears that a vigil for people living with HIV/AIDS will not be part of October's National March for Equality, as one of the lead organizers told the Bay Area Reporter that no agency could be found to spearhead the event.

When he first called for a march on Washington, D.C. this spring, longtime gay and AIDS activist Cleve Jones told the B.A.R. that march organizers were trying to get use of the Lincoln Memorial site for an HIV/AIDS action on Saturday, October 10, the day before the march. Jones, who is HIV-positive and founded the Names Project AIDS Memorial Quilt, has long been outspoken on HIV/AIDS issues.

But those plans have apparently fallen through.

Kip Williams, who has been helping Jones with organizing the equality march, said this week that the AIDS vigil had to be canceled.

"There were a number of organizations considering taking the lead," Williams wrote in an e-mail. "In the end, no one had the resources or capacity to step up."

Okay? That would've been nice to have, considering how HIV/AIDS programs are being cut left and right.

Also, there's the tax exempt issue too. The event is being supported by a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and donations are tax-deductible, if I'm correct. But if so, the rules of the 503(c) 3 says:

a 501(c)3 organization can't attempt to "influence legislation as a substantial part of its activities ..."

Meaning, you can't push to change or repeal of any law/legislation or bill. So this means that they can't focus on the repeal of ENDA, DADT or DOMA. Their messages will have to be somewhat broad and vague.

I'm sure they will figure something out, but I wonder if this is a sign that the organizers should've waited to properly plan this. In my line of work, anytime we plan to hold a student or a professional conference, we plan at least for a year and a half in advance.

I feel if they waited until next summer, then things could've been thought through more. However, I will wait to see what happens. I want this to be a success, but I'm worried this could be a huge mess.

Stop Trying to F**k up Heathers!

Good Grief, if I hear about more silly folks trying remake, remook or remok Heathers, I will push the button.

Here's the latest mess
Fox is developing a contemporary take on the 1989 Christian Slater/Winona Ryder feature "Heathers."

Dark comedy will be adapted for TV by scribe Mark Rizzo, with an assist from "Sex and the City" alum Jenny Bicks. Sony Pictures TV, where Bicks is based, will produce, along with Lakeshore Entertainment, which holds the rights to "Heathers."

Rizzo is still kicking around ideas on how to update "Heathers" 20 years after the film became a favorite among the underground set. But the characters from the movie are all expected to be there -- Veronica Sawyer (played in the movie by Ryder), J.D. (Slater) and the "Heathers."

The original movie revolved around Veronica as she navigates a clique of mean girls -- all named Heather -- and rebels after meeting J.D., the new guy at school. Soon, the Heathers start "accidentally" dying at the hands of Veronica and J.D., who cover up the deaths by faking them as suicides. Ryder's character chronicles her teen angst and the rising body count with regular diary entries.

The idea for a "Heathers" revival came from inside UTA, where reps for Rizzo and Bicks decided the title was ripe for revival and contacted Lakeshore about potentially dusting off the franchise.

For Lakeshore, the project, which is in the script stage at Fox, reps its introduction to the world of TV.

"We had the title, and talked about doing a film remake at times," said Lakeshore prexy Gary Lucchesi. "But doing it for TV seemed like a fresh and original idea."

NO! Either get something new or get Herpes! I am sick of these re-imagining crap. Look at CW, they have made a mess of copying old shows and making shows no one cares about.

Do something new, we have enough teen mess on TV. And why do they think there are new ideas to explore? If so then they should make... NEW STORIES!

I need to get my ass in these studios before there's a new series based on The Facts of Life or Porky's.

Bears are In, Twinks are OUT

Interesting article about the power of bears (burly gay men for those who don't know). I always thought thick men was the deal, but now I think the rest of gay world is catching up.

Here's a sample of the article:

The chubby, hairy gays are way better organized as a community and, as gym fascism wanes a bit, they've ratcheted up their acceptance as available sexual objects (which is good news for my own trajectory, especially if I gain just five more pounds and a hint of taint stubble). They're more in tune with the earthier, less narcissistic era we're apparently entering (though their occasional distaste for effeminacy makes me fear for just the kind of internal LGBT oppression they're supposedly running from). And now, they're heading toward the big screen in BearCity, a fictional feature co-written by entertainment journalist Lawrence Ferber and director Douglas Langway, who are shooting everywhere from the Ramrod to the Eagle.

The gay community is looking for a more natural look, and, as we become more accepted, it feels like it's more mainstream. We're building a new generation of gay people who have options to look any way they want, whether that be drag queen or muscle bear. I think beards and hair and masculinity are becoming more powerful than sleek and slender and smooth. The bear sensibility allows gays to not have to act as anything but themselves.

Chris: Yeah, yes I do. Proudly. I think it's the best church in the world.

Put Steven Anderson on WATCH! He is capable of anything!

And dump rotting fish on Chris.

True Blood is becoming EPIC.

The ONLY vampire show to watch hits it big again!
Vampire series True Blood on Sunday night captured HBO's largest audience outside of The Sopranos in more than five years. The Aug. 23 premiere averaged 5.3 million watchers, according to Nielsen Media Research data, up 20% from the previous week's premiere.

Installments of the David Chase mob series aside, that was the top performance for an HBO show since a Deadwood episode on April 11, 2004, which was the lead out from The Sopranos that night. True Blood, which has two more original episodes to premiere during its sophomore season, has delivered a gross audience of 11.6 million watchers when tallied over its various linear plays, DVR and HBO On Demand airings, according to the premium service.

Again, cancel Vampire Diaries. Who's going to watch that dime store knock off?

Why are they just Kool-Aiding by the pool?

Do we Want a Dark Superman movie?

I don't, but possible director for the next Superman flick, James McTeigue seems to think so...

"I think it's good that they just had a court case where, basically, if you make another Superman movie, you can't touch Superman growing up—that's part of the story that you can't touch any more," he previously said. "That wouldn't be a bad thing. I think everybody's a bit sick of seeing the origin story."

Without the aid of an origin story and with an eye towards a darker film, what kind of story would McTeigue tell in a "Superman" movie? The filmmaker was understandably light on the details, but he did offer a suggestion on how to approach Kal-El's next adventure.

"You need to take it and retool it," he said. "Make it something that appeals to audiences now a little more.

I don't think you need to retool Superman. They have 1000s of stories to choose from. Don't try to make Supes into Batman or Wolverine. It's blasphemy!

Do you know there's a Sequel to The Wizard of Oz coming?

I am floored! A sequel?
Well, there was Return to Oz in the 80s with my favorite witch, Fairuza Balk, but this is totally different.

This story will involve the granddaughter of Dorothy, may be played by Dakota Fanning.
Dakota Fanning could be poised to don the ruby slippers for a sequel to The Wizard of Oz. But be warned, the studio is claiming this new version will be "darker and more action-packed" than the original 1939 musical.

The Wizard of Oz starred Judy Garland as Dorothy, a Kansas farm-girl who finds herself whisked to a technicolor world of munchkins and witches. By contrast, the Warner Bros remake will play out in the present day and chart the adventures of Dorothy's feistier granddaughter.

"You've still got Dorothy trapped in an odd place," explains co-producer Todd McFarlane. "But she's much closer to the Ripley character from Alien, than a helpless singing girl."

Interesting to say the least. I'll keep y'all posted.

Sen. Edward Kennedy has died at age 77

"We've lost the irreplaceable center of our family and joyous light in our lives, but the inspiration of his faith, optimism, and perseverance will live on in our hearts forever," the Kennedy family said in a statement. "He loved this country and devoted his life to serving it."

This man has done many great things in his life... He will be missed.

My personal Letter to Pastor Steven L. Anderson

I wanted to be civil, but firm in my letter. I am posting this on his blog. He needs to know that his actions are vile and alarming.
***************************************************************************
Steven

I wanted you to know how appalling it is to hear so much hate in your sermons. I am trying to figure how you call yourself a man of God, while spitting out such vile mess about gays and President Obama.

Have no shame, Steven? Where do you think this is acceptable under God's word? As a pastor, you are suppose to be preaching on God's love, peace and unity, however it seems you have taken a myopic stance. You are a vessel of God, your sermons should not be about your personal agenda. The minute it becomes all about you, you have lost the point.

How do you think God will judge you? God would NOT condone your behavior at all! It is sick, divisive and far from what Jesus died for. You invoke violence, discord and hate, Steven! Do you realize that? Your children will be affected by this behavior and it will haunt them for most of their lives.

To stand there and preach this madness to your followers is clearly a disservice to them and your faith. What you are doing is the exact opposite of what Jesus would do. You have lost your way and you need to stifle yourself.

Steven, your actions are unacceptable and unjust. Think of your family, think of God, because if you continue, you will be 2 steps closer to Hell, honey.

John McCain tries to Deal with his People

He tried and I appreciate that... Here's John McCain at a town hall meeting

Am I in America?

They are Watching you, Pastor Steve L. Anderson

After threatening us and claiming Obama is the demon, Baal, Pastor Steve L. Anderson's number has been called.

He's gaining attention, but not what he'd hoped. He is being watched by the media, the public and the government.

Silly dog... Did he think his little rants wouldn't draw attention?

I'm writing him a letter later today. He needs to know how I feel about his hate filled gospel.

Interesting Quote: Sam Worthington

It's kind of humbling the way they described your performance against Christian's, but we have no control over that. We just have try and do the best character we can do at that time. And I can nitpick with the best of them, man, and go down the list of things I saw on IMDB where they found holes in it and go, 'You are f***ing right. If there was a big ten-ton robot coming outside that gas station, surely we would f***ing hear it!' And I missed that! So I go, 'I gotta be a bit better when I'm looking through my scripts!' So that kind of raises my games a bit, cause I feel like an idiot for not saying it to McG.

Sam admitting that Terminator 4 made no-ass sense.

We knew that, honey. But I'm glad your fine self realized that.

David Hedrick is really sipping on Dumb-Aid

Interesting Quote: Cory Booker

“I think the Obama administration is in the middle of some of the most important fights in the history of our country. They’re eight months into an administration, if that. And I have trouble casting judgment on them feeling a lot of sympathy for what they’re going thorough.

“But that does not mean that I can’t as a citizen of this country be frustrated, impatient to watch what friends of mine who are gay and lesbian go through on a daily basis. That is such an affront to what we claim to be as a nation, and so having come from a group of Americans that’s been historically discriminated against, there’s no time but now to do certain things."

By the Goddess! Michael Jackson's death is a homicide!

I guess LaToya was right!

The Los Angeles County coroner has ruled Michael Jackson's death a homicide, a law enforcement official told The Associated Press, a finding that makes it more likely criminal charges will be filed against the doctor who was with the pop star when he died.

The coroner determined a fatal combination of drugs was given to Jackson hours before he died June 25 in his rented Los Angeles mansion, according to the official who spoke on condition of anonymity because the findings have not been publicly released. Forensic tests found the powerful anesthetic propofol acted together with at least two sedatives to cause Jackson's death, the official said.

This is horrible news. I can't imagine what the family is going through.

Smelt and Hammer's lawsuit on DOMA was nixed.

I knew this would happen...
U.S. District Judge David O. Carter ruled the case — the first of several pending challenges to the federal Defense of Marriage Act — must be refiled in federal court.

Carter said the suit had been improperly filed in state court before it was transferred to his jurisdiction. As a result, the judge said, he would not entertain arguments on its merits, at least not yet.
"There is no point for us to go down the line of decision-making and waste time," he said during the hearing in Santa Ana.

Okay, so what does this mean? Hopefully they will file it properly or wait to see how Obama's folks will handle it.

How will Doctor Who's David Tennant Exit?

Rep. Trent Franks is a Stupid Twit

Rep. Trent Franks from where...Ass backward ARIZONA, is considering filing a lawsuit for Obama to produce a birth certificate.

He talked about this at church yesterday, claiming about how Obama is this and Obama is that.
But it was here, that changed the conversation:
The other main issue dealt with numerous speakers questioning Obama's birth certificate and why there wasn't an investigation into whether he is a naturalized citizen. One woman said a newspaper announcement of his birth in Hawaii was not sufficient.

Another asked how he could have a passport without a birth certificate.
Franks said there was not enough evidence that Obama is not an American citizen. He did say there was a lot of conflicting evidence of Obama's citizenship and that he was considering filing a lawsuit, the only congressman to do so. Franks asked why the president did not simply produce a birth certificate.

Really, Trent? Alright, but as others have pointed out, this is strange coming from him, especially after he said that Obama was a valid American. I got you on You Tube, Trent!

My dear, are you flip-flopping or really stupid?

And what the Frak is up with Arizona? It's like they are on another planet or something.

I didn't know Log Cabin Republicans went to Circuit Parties, Charles Moran

After watching the CNN clip several times, I am very curious about Mr. Charles Moran. He's the spokesperson for the Log Cabin Republicans who gave us the line:
"The issue of being an advocate means you actually have to do something. And unfortunately all we've seen from the White House and the Obama administration is more rhetoric and not a lot of action. In fact the most we've gotten is a little bit of a circuit party with a Madonna remix in the East Room of the White House and unfortunately that just doesn't cut it."
Really? It's very interesting that Charles talks about the little things they are doing, but seriously what have you really done for the LGBT community?

Putting out press releases and jumping in late on the "Gay Marriage train" doesn't make you fierce advocates at all.

I would like to see LCR really go after their party. So far, I haven't seen much. If LCR wants street cred, they need to get their party on board. Don't try to jump on the bandwagon and go after Obama. Hell, you didn't do anything against Bush and waited until McCain lost before you really start talking. So, stop playing.

Being tardy for the "Gay Marriage" party don't cut it either, Charles.
