Opinions are like assholes, we've all got them and everyone swears that everyone else's stinks but theirs.
I guess I'd feel a whole lot better about Dr. Cosby if he didn't live in a glass house and throw stones. When he sits back and talks about personal responsibility and had an out of wedlock child.........while he was married, that wasn't particularly responsible or the actions of a role model.
I'm not even gonna go into detail about those tired stereotypical cartoon characters he used to call the Cosby Kids. I don't remember any kids like that in my neighborhood. Not to mention the morbidly obese one who was one Twinkie away from a diabetic stroke.
I understand that there are no perfect men, only perfect intentions; but perhaps someone else should be the messenger instead.
Reggie's got a great point - time passes, people change....the message's intention is good! But yes - it's so easy to say "responsibility" once one understands what "responsible" really means.
