Send MTV to the Phantom Zone, NOW!

Lets face it, MTV sucks! I mean really sucks! They always find a new way to perpetuate stereotypes, degrade people, and make entitled folks feel overly...entitled. Now they have done it with this new stew of mess.

They just announced a new show called Model Makers, which follows the tired format of finding the next model but here's the catch: they have to shed at least 30 pounds in exchange for a shot at fame.

So the more weight they lose, they have a better shot in winning a silly contact that guarantees them nothing. I don't know who's creating this stuff, but I feel they literally trying to f**k up our society. We should build up our young girls not tear them down with tricky model/weight loss malarkey. Will this show have healthy tips on eating? Are life coaches around? Will there be bitchy judges to make these girls feel horrible?

We'll see, but I hope this show promote self worth and not self indulgence.
