Sex for Favors? Really?

A study from 475 University of Michigan undergraduates ages 17 to 26 found that 27% of the men and 14% of the women who weren't in a committed relationship had offered someone favors or gifts -- help prepping for a test, laundry washing, tickets to a college football game -- in exchange for sex. On the flip side, 5 percent of the men surveyed and 9 percent of the women said they'd attempted to trade sex for such freebies.

Really, for football game tickets? I could understand a house, erasing student loan debt, Uncanny X-Men 94 in mint condition, but for college football tickets!

I guess it all about priorities. I had to think if I have done this to some degree, and I think I did for affection when I was in my teens. But I want to say I would put out for much more these days.

Now I'm curious, has anyone out there bartered sex for favors? Let me know

I think that is a young person thing. You know using sex as a weapon or negotiation tool.

Plus, I think young people now are a bit more open about sex and don't see it as a big thing. Like you shared in an earlier post, they basically bump and grind on the dance floor.

I think pop-culture is hypersexed. Whether it's a celeb sex tape or Internet porn, I think many 20 somethings don't work with many restrictions or shame when it comes to sex.

With all that said I recall a time I slayed the hubby, left him a huge smile on his face, and then asked him to wash the dishes.
