I think it's depressing that he actually got a book deal. Ugh! But what do I know: Maybe he's the next John Steinbeck.

My first book signing was a disaster. No one showed and I left after two hours. Of course, it didn't help that I was trying to sell gay erotic fiction at a sci/fi convention (the booth was free, so why not, so I thought).
