CW continues to F**k up Prime Time
They are like a rash that just won't stop coming. CW continues the trend of bad ideas by picking up a pilot based on the "Vampire Diaries" books. And these books were lame, fan fiction at best. Okay, some fan fiction is good, I'm talking about the broke ass versions.
CW pointed out that these books were out before Twilight, like that makes any difference. This story is all about 2 vamp brothers, one's good and the other's bad. And there's some silly girl in love with the both of them.
Bright Lady, why do they insist on dumbing down our vampires? Then to add salt to the wound, they have Gossip Girl production company Alloy Entertainment on board. Scream and Dawson's Creek creator Kevin Williamson, and Kyle XY writer Julie Plec to deal with the story, and now the book series' company plans on re-releasing the books to ride on Twilight's success.
So pretty much, this will fail. We are done with the sappy vamps and CW's massacre of good stories. There are comic books with better stories and True Blood? Hello?
CW, save your money and stop wasting our time.
