Maybe it's me, but Prince's music just isn't the same anymore. After he became a Jehovah's Witness and self-neutered his sexuality and profanity, his music lost that funky spark of genius.
Yeah, things just aren't the same in The Purple Palace. My sister and I went to Vegas over Memorial Day weekend and stayed in her timeshare. This place was plush, but way, way off the strip. Next door thenars a mw casino... and Prince plays there on Friday nights! He's not even on the strip. We didn't see him,but I having afeeling tickets werestill available. My, how the mighty have fallen.
