Janay Rice defends Ray Rice on Instagram

After her assault made national news, Janay Rice took to Instagram to release a statement.

It reads:

"I woke up this morning feeling like I had a horrible nightmare, feeling like I'm mourning the death of my closest friend," she wrote in an Instagram post. "But to have to accept the fact that it's reality is a nightmare itself. No one knows the pain that the media and unwanted [opinions] from the public has caused my family. To make us relive a moment in our lives that we regret everyday is a horrible thing. To take something away from the man I love that he has worked his ass off for all his life just to gain ratings is horrific. THIS IS OUR LIFE! What don't you all get. If your intentions were to hurt us, embarrass us, make us feel alone, take all happiness away, you've succeeded on so many levels. Just know we will continue to grow and show the world what real love is! Ravensnation we love you!"

Um... I don't know what to think of this. True, we don't know their lives, but what we saw in that video was disturbing and horrifying.

The way he assaulted her and dragged her was unbelievable! And yet, she defends him, blames the media. Then, she said this was done to hurt and embarrass them... really?

Janay, I don't give a f*ck about Ray. It's you, I'm worried about.

This will probably anger some folks, but Janay sounds like a lost woman. To tell us that they will show the world what love's all about is daft. Real love isn't being knocked out and dragged out. Real love wouldn't have you on that stage apologizing for your behavior and Real love wouldn't allow the Baltimore Ravens issue an apology on your behalf.

Janay, I feel that you don't know what Real love is. If you did, you would love yourself to know that this response is ridiculous.
