In Petersburg, Kentucky, The Creation Museum wants to build a full scale Noah's Ark. And I mean a FULL scale version of the mythological boat.
The $24.5 million project will be constructed by the same team that built the Creation Museum. The religious ministry is soliciting online donations to help construct the project, which they expect to draw an estimated 1.6 million visitors per year.
Ken Ham, president and CEO of Answers In Genesis, cites poll data showing that an estimated 63 percent of Americans would visit a full-scale replica of Noah's Ark if one were built in the U.S."We see a full-scale, wooden ark as something so significant that it will shake up this nation," Ham said. "It would be a clear reminder to America about the truths of the Bible.Almost 25 million dollars for this mess! Well, if that's the idea; why don't they build a full scale Hall of Justice. That will promote "Truth and Justice for all Mankind"
The building of a huge ark is a unique and powerful opportunity to reach millions in our nation (and around the world) with a bold statement: God's word is true."

Don't knock it, V. Would you rather they spent the bucks supporting anti-equality political campaigns?
We should encourage them to spend tons of dough on other wasteful projects.
All religious fundamentalists should get on board this damn thing and float away!
Cubby, I'm sure they all tithe, so in a way, they already do.
We also shouldn't neglect to mention that they're classifying this place as a "theme" park, Which means the state's taxpayers will pay 25% of the $25 million.
So, they're not the only people spending tons on wasteful projects.
They won't build a Hall of Justice because these idiots aren't interested in the TRUTH or JUSTICE.
Well, another reason I won't visit Kentucky.
The Hall of Justice........ Id pay to visit.....
The Ark..... sink the fucker.
But we've already built the Hall of Justice. How about the Legion of Doom?
