New Kelly Clarkson!

I hope she's not going all "Britney". She has so much talent, she doesn't have to sell her sexuality. I guess we will see what happens. This is her new single BTW.

Could any of these 3 be the Next Doctor Who?

Rumors are running wild about the new Doctor Who. My favorite sites have made their commitments about the international exclusive, but I'm quite surprised with the options. These are the top 3 picks (I think)

The U.K. Guardian says the new Doc will be revealed in a BBC1 show to be broadcast tomorrow (5 or 6am) and it could be a historic event. I hope it's Chiwetel Ejiofor. Not only is he cute, but he was a great villain in Serenity. I have to say, I will miss David Tennant. He's was a good Doctor Who, and kinda cute and quirky. So I will keep y'all posted.

George W. Bush...

Keeping it Real

The Subjects of our Liquid Dreams are Back!

VH1 is a live tabloid channel to say the least. However, they are bring us Confessions of A Teen Idol. I'm a little bit excited because Eric Nies and Billy Hufsey are back! I had a huge crush on both of them. So it will be interesting to see what happens

From left, Jeremy Jackson ("Baywatch"), Christopher Atkins ("The Blue Lagoon"), Jamie Walters ("Beverly Hills 90210"), Billy Hufsey ("Fame"), Eric Nies ("Real World" and "The Grind"), Adrian Zmed ("TJ Hooker," "Grease 2") and David Chokachi (also "Baywatch").

Get Excited

Fox News never disappoints

Fox News is what it is: mess, drama, pot-stirring and occasionally race-baiting. And to be sure we haven't forgot any of that, they allow this foolishness to run through their ticker for New Year's.

HAPPY NEW YEAR AND LET'S HOPE THE MAGIC NEGRO DOES A GOOD JOB. LOVE JEN AND JOHN C.

Thanks, Jen and John C. and I hope his magic powers turn y'all into frogs.

Blast from the Past: Hanging with (the future) Admiral William Adama

In Fall 1997, I was living it up in college. I have my 2nd 4.0, I was in the Campus Activity Board, I was finally out of the closet and I was a RA.

Then I got to hang out with Edward James Olmos. Who knew he would be the powerful Admiral William Adama in Battlestar Galactica. Lucky me to have spent a few hours with him.

He was very interesting and passionate. He came to our little Kentucky school and talked about issues affecting Latinos in the media. It was a very good event.

Oh, BTW I was wearing extensions back then. I always changed my hair every six months. There wasn't anything else to do in that town, so I had to keep things exciting for me at least.

This is why Kathy Griffin is No longer on the D-List

I'm Calling Ghost (movie)Busters

This new year will bring new horror flicks. The downside to this is the truck load of remakes and watered down Asian ghost movies. In fact, it's the ghost movies that's frightening me in a not so good way.

As I mentioned above, we are getting these remixed Asian ghost movies. You know the type. A girl or kids come back to kill folks that had nothing to do with their death or warn people about something. Well, I love Korean Horror and J-Horror, but when we (Americans) get involved we mess things up. Although The Ring was good, but that was it.

This year we have:

The Uninvited-Korean horror not Japanese
The Unborn

The Grudge 3

The Ring 3

The Echo
Voices

I guarantee none of these will impress or make bank. They will probably self-destruct like Shutter, Mirrors, and One Missed Call did last year.

Ghost horror is hard to do, I think it is a tough genre to wrap a good story around. But I ask the writers and studios to stop stealing from Japanese and look through old fiction for inspiration.

I think about great horror writers: Peter Straub, Richard Laymon, and Ruby Jean Jensen. They could tell a good ghost story. Try reading some of their work and get inspired and get excited. The ghost horror stuff is losing ground. Time to look deep for something else creepy, scary, and fun

No, He's No Role Model

Charles...What were you thinking?

One, driving drunk.

Two, driving drunk in Arizona.

Three, looking for someone to suck your drunk cock and telling the cops that very same thing.

Again...What were you thinking?

If he was thinking of running for office, that's gone. If he was wanted endorsements, gone part two.

If he wants to be the fool who kicks off the year like this, done.

Back Flash Video Thursday

Okay, new year, new changes. I will post Strike It Up by Black Box. I think it gets the mood going.
