Florida Gov. Rick Scott clowns at debate over a Fan

So, this is some mess.

During the debate, Rick Scott didn't want to come on stage because Charlie Crist had a fan blowing on him.

CNN reports
Scott's Democratic challenger, former Gov. Charlie Crist, had set up a small fan underneath his podium, apparently trying to keep himself from sweating under the Broward College stage's lights. Scott saw the fan, a prop that often accompanies Crist at public appearances, as a violation of the debate's rules and said he wouldn't participate.
The moderators tried to explain the disagreement while Republicans in the audience chided Crist for breaking rules -- at least as Scott saw them -- against props on stage.

In Florida: Gov. Scott wants to Appeal the Marriage Ban

Oh, Florida...

After the hateful gay marriage ban was dropped in the state, Gov. Rick Scott and friends want to appeal that decision.

From the Florida ACLU press release:
Today, defendants in two federal lawsuits challenging Florida’s marriage ban – Governor Scott appointees John Armstrong (Surgeon General) and Craig Nichols (Secretary of the Department of Management Services), and Washington County Clerk of Court Harold Bazzell— filed a notice that they are appealing the August 21 ruling by U.S. District Judge Robert Hinkle overturning Florida’s ban on marriage for same-sex couples.

The ruling, a result of two separate federal lawsuits—one brought by the ACLU of Florida, the other brought by Jacksonville attorneys William Sheppard and Sam Jacobson—made Florida the 16th state in which a federal court has found a marriage ban unconstitutional since the Supreme Court’s ruling striking down the main provision of the federal Defense of Marriage Act.
This is so stupid! Really? They want to waste money on this? Good luck, NOT!

Truth: Florida GOP tried to suppress Minority Voters

I knew it and you probably did too. GOP leaders in Florida admitted to some voter foolishness.

According to Former Republican Party of Florida Chairman Jim Greer, the GOP tried to suppress the vote in Florida.
Former Republican Party of Florida Chairman Jim Greer says he attended various meetings, beginning in 2009, at which party staffers and consultants pushed for reductions in early voting days and hours.
“The Republican Party, the strategists, the consultants, they firmly believe that early voting is bad for Republican Party candidates,” Greer told The Post. “It’s done for one reason and one reason only. … ‘We’ve got to cut down on early voting because early voting is not good for us,’ ” Greer said he was told by those staffers and consultants.“They never came in to see me and tell me we had a (voter) fraud issue,” Greer said. “It’s all a marketing ploy.”
And there's more, please check out the rest of the post... MESS!

The Koch brothers show No Love for Gov. Rick Scott

This is a shock to the system. The Koch brothers' organization, Americans for Prosperity, spoke out against Florida Gov. Rick Scott for being an asshole on Obamacare.

Recently, Rick decided to go against the interest of the people and refuse Obamacare for the state.

Americans for Prosperity responded to his actions:
In a statement, AFP said that Scott's recent signal that he was willing to consider implementing key provisions of President Barack Obama's health care reform law was a step in the wrong direction.

"AFP is extremely disappointed in leaders in Florida suggesting that the Sunshine State should create a health insurance exchange” said Slade O’Brien, AFP’s Florida State Director. “An exchange will increase insurance premiums on consumers and taxes on hardworking families. Florida’s best intentions will be masked by the federal government’s onerous requirements.”
Seems that Rick Scott is losing his appeal. He better be careful or he may end up jobless and ruined in a matter of months.

Florida belongs to Obama

President Obama is now the official winner of Florida The state fell into Obama's corner yesterday.

The President had 50% of the vote with a 74,000 difference. Romney already conceded Florida, so it really didn't matter. However, it's like a salt lick in wound for Mittens.

But you know what's funny?  Think about everything Rick Scott did to suppress the vote and that creepy looking bitch came up short. It's truly a shame that the state has to pay for that bastard's foolishness.

Rick Scott, your days as a Governor are numbered and we can't wait.
