Joan Rivers' response on calling Michelle Obama a Tranny

This is what she said:
I think it's a compliment. She's so attractive, tall, with a beautiful body, great face, does great makeup. Take a look and go back to La Cage Au Follies (sic). The most gorgeous women are transgender. Stop it already ... and if you want to talk about 'politically correct,' I think this is a 'politically incorrect' attack on me because I'm old, Jewish, a woman and a 'hetty' -- a heteosexual ... and I plan to sue the reporter who, when he turned off his camera, tried to touch me inappropriately on the a** - luckily he hit my ankle. Read the book ... if you think that's silly, wait to (sic) you see what I say about FDR and Eleanor!"

Interesting Quote: Ellen Sturtz

Mrs. Obama has accomplished extraordinary things and is inarguably the conscience of the White House. She understands injustice at a deep level, and it was that political conscience I was hoping to stir at this week’s fundraiser. Some have said it was disrespectful for a white woman to interrupt an African American woman, or for an activist to interrupt the first lady. All I can say is that in that moment, I could no longer remain silent while standing in front of one of our country’s most powerful political figures. I spoke up for the millions of LGBT Americans who have to make small and excruciating choices each day about the extent to which they are able to live safe and honest lives.
My hope is that the first lady sees me as just one of millions who are desperate to participate fully in the American dream — a dream she is helping to build for millions across this country. After being locked out of that dream for so long, I hope President Obama considers the desperation we all feel for equality and signs this executive order.

FYI, the Executive Order could get tied up in court and take forever to get active. I prefer the legislative approach.

Change.org Petition: GetEQUAL.org: Issue a formal apology to the First Lady Michelle Obama

The backlash is running. Since GetEQUAL refuse to see the flaws in their plan to heckle the First Lady, other gay activists are calling them out.

Yesterday, I saw that a petition was made for GetEQUAL's leaders, Felipe Sousa-Rodriguez and Heather Cronk to formally apology to the First Lady Michelle Obama:
Last Tuesday night a lesbian couple invited the First Lady to speak in their home. The speech was on the importance of the future of our children. GetEQUAL.org sent an activist to heckle the First Lady during her speech.
Even with an overwhelming number of requests from members of the LBGT community demanding GetEQUAL apologize, Co-Directors Felipe Sousa-Rodriguez and Heather Cronk refuse to do so. Although they state they understand the First Lady is NOT an elected official, they consider her one.
GetEQUAL is a fringe organization that is in danger of hurting any forward momentum the LBGT has achieved and will hope to achieve in the future.
Ellen Sturtz, Felipe Sousa-Rodriguez and Heather must apologize for their inappropriate behavior, immediately!

GetEQUAL's Sorry Response to Michelle Obama's Protest

Heckler Ellen Sturtz

WASHINGTON, DC — Tuesday evening at a fundraiser for the Democratic National Committee, organizers with GetEQUAL — a national social justice organization fighting for the full equality of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Americans — confronted two speakers at the event, DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and First Lady Michelle Obama.

The organizers were advocating for action from the Obama Administration to sign a long-promised Executive Order that would bar any company that contracts with the federal government from discriminating on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity. Then-candidate Barack Obama promised while running for office in 2008 to sign such an order, but has not yet taken action (http://www.metroweekly.com/news/?ak=7139). A federal contractor Executive Order would protect approximately 22% of the American workforce from LGBT workplace discrimination, and has support from the LGBT advocacy community, as well as The New York Times, The Washington Post, 37 U.S. Senators, and 110 U.S. Representatives.

“I lived and worked in the closet, hiding who I was in order to earn a living,” said Ellen Sturtz, who interacted with the First Lady tonight. “I had planned to speak tonight with DNC officials but, as the First Lady was talking about our childrens’ future and ensuring that they have everything they need to live happy and productive lives, I simply couldn’t stay silent any longer. I’m looking ahead at a generation of young people who could live full, honest, and open lives with the stroke of the President’s pen, and I was hoping that the First Lady would share my concern for all of our young people.”

Activists interacted with the First Lady tonight after lobbying President Obama directly over the past year to sign the federal contractor Executive Order. The First Lady employed similar tactics when she was a law student, advocating for causes close to her heart: http://www.thedailybeast.com/newsweek/2008/02/16/barack-s-rock.html.

Transgender Model Connie Fleming is Michelle Obama in Candy Magazine

In the latest Candy magazine, publisher Luis Venegas showcase transgender model Connie Fleming as a Michelle Obama on the cover.

This photo was taken by Danielle Levitt and styled by Brad Goreski. Luis had a particular idea in mind when he revealed this cover:
"I especially love the cover story, which for the first time isn't a super-popular star, but a fabulous, beautiful black transwoman channeling a politician who looks pretty much like Michelle Obama. I remember back in early 2007 when the Democratic Party’s nominees were narrowed down between two "controversial" stereotypes never before seen for presidency: a black man, Barack Obama; and a woman, Hillary Rodham Clinton. At that time, I thought, 'when will the time come when these archaic walls break down and the White House will be occupied by, for example, a black, transsexual woman?'
It's cute. I like the cover.

Alveda King adds her Useless Two Cents about Michelle Obama's Speech

This heifer right here had to add her stankin' two cents about the First Lady's speech.

Here a piece of it:
What the First Lady didn't mention is the high number of jobless families, and the astronomical debt her husband has run up in the name of entitlement during his tenure. This debt will fall on the backs of our children, at least those who don't end up contracepted or aborted or not conceived in the first place.
However, after saying all of this, we can admit that both Mrs. Romney and Mrs. Obama have delivered stunning and memorable speeches in support and defense of their husbands. Women can be proud that two intelligent women are at the forefront of this year's elections.
Women should also be very wary of an agenda that is very harmful to the female and family populations of America, which is the agenda that Mrs. Michelle Obama, the First Lady of America is promoting. The current administration supports programs and initiatives such as homosexual marriage and the HHS Mandate which delivers harmful chemical and medical procedures that are linked to strokes, heart attacks, breast cancer and a host of other ills that are harmful to the lives of babies and women.
Child Cheese, Alveda needs to have a seat and stop trying have a spotlight. She ain't doing anyone any favors.

Interesting Quote: Sarah Palin

Certainly his wife expressed this view when she said during the 2008 campaign that she had never felt proud of her country until her husband started winning elections. In retrospect, I guess this shouldn't surprise us, since both of them spent almost two decades in the pews of the Reverend Jeremiah Wright's church listening to his rants against America and white people.

First Lady's Hairstylist hits it Big

Johnny Wright, super stylist who has given Lady Michelle her fierce hairdos, has signed a deal with 44 Blue, a company that produces reality shows as Style Network's "Split Ends" and A&E's "L.A. Gang Unit."

Johnny is here in Los Angeles at Frederic Fekkai, and already have a star soaked clientele of Vanessa Williams, Vivica A. Fox, Rebecca Gayheart, Lauren London, Selita Ebanks and Candace Bushnell.

According to THR, 44 Blue executive vp Stephanie Drachkovitch knew he was star material.

"We fell in love with him before we knew. There's a lot of hairstylists out there who do celebrities, but they can't center a show."

She's pitching for a show on the cable networks as a docudrama of makeover series. She should go over to CW and save their dumbass network, but I think she can do better. Good luck to Johnny and I hope everything works out.

Ann, Don't Hate on the First Lady!

GOP Harpy, Ann Coulter has a new book to torture us soon. And to stir up drama, the hateful heifer attacks Michelle Obama.

In her new mess, Guilty: Liberal "Victims" and Their Assault on America she says:

"Her obvious imitation of Jackie O's style - the flipped-under hair, the sleeveless A-line dresses, the short strands of fake pearls - would have been laughable if done by anyone other than a media-designated saint."

Girl please, you know if Michelle met you in the streets, she would knock your Zombie-looking ass out. Of course Ann's picking fights to sell books, but will someone put this human waste in the toilet. She's starting to stink.

The designers are on a high about the Inaugural affair. This is their chance to dress our First Diva for the ball.

WWD showcased several ideas that are cute, not cute, and wonderful. It makes me want to be a designer again. Here are a few designs, mostly from Christian Lacroix
