“I’m not going to try to prove what I am or am not. It’s silly, right? When you google yourself and the first thing that comes up is ‘Jeremy Renner gay,’ it’s like, ‘Oh, now you’ve arrived. You’re now a giant movie star.’ I don’t care, ultimately, if that’s what people want to think, read and care about. F**king say whatever the hell you want about me. Look at where we’re at socially—leaps and bounds ahead of where we started. That’s an amazing thing. To suggest that it’s negative, that being gay is a terrible thing, a perversion or whatever—I just don’t get it. Don’t you wish we were in a world where we’re not shaming, judging and boxing people in?”

Jeremy Renner in final negotiations to be in "The Avengers" as Hawkeye

Hot Avengers News
Jeremy is in final negotiations to join The Avengers.
THR reports:
Renner will play the bow-and-arrow-carrying hero Hawkeye, who, while not one of the initial members of the team when it was created in the 1960s, became an integral member soon after when the misguided villain switched sides.
Renner will join Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man/Tony Stark, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Chris Evans as Captain America, Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Don Cheadle as War Machine.
I think is a good choice.

Blue Dances with Wolves and Hurt Locker leads Oscars

Great Hera! First Taylor Swift wins Record of the Year for a CD no one knew about and now, "Avatar" leads Oscars noms?
Alright, I'll stop complaining... Here are the Best Picture noms:
"District 9"
"Up"
"Inglourious Basterds"
"The Blind Side" really?
"Up in The Air"
"A Serious Man"
"An Education"
"Precious"
"Avatar"
"The Hurt Locker"
Les Daniels got his 1st nom for Best Director, making him the 2nd Black director nominated ever.
I am happy to see "District 9" in the mix. If a Sci Fi movie was going to be nominated, it should this one.
Mo'Nique was given the Best Supporting Actress nom... She has come a long way, y'all. From "Soul Plane" to this. Gabourey Sidibe also received Best Actress nom for her role in "Precious".
For Best Actor, we have:
George Clooney for "Up in the Air"
Jeff Bridges for "Crazy Heart"
Morgan Freeman in "Invictus"
Colin Firth in "A Single Man" and
Jeremy Renner in "The Hurt Locker" BTW Jeremy has come a long way too, with his fine self.

Best Actress:
Meryl Streep in "Julie & Julia"
Helen Mirren in "The Last Station"
Carey Mulligan for "An Education"
Gabourey Sidibe in "Precious"
Sandra Bullock for "The Blind Side"
