Taye Diggs is the Next Hedwig!

Short and sexy Taye Diggs will be the next Hedwig in Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Stella's groove will start on Broadway’s Belasco Theatre on July 22 for a 12-week engagement. This should be interesting to watch, especially those who will scream about Hedwig being Black.

What do y'all think about this?

Darren Criss to Star in ‘Hedwig and the Angry Inch’

Darren Criss will be donning the wig and hot shorts as Hedwig in “Hedwig and the Angry Inch."

He will be on a 12-week run that starts April 29th. It amazing to see Darren's career take off. I would be very interested in seeing him in the role.

Dexter's Michael C. Hall to become Hedwig on Broadway

'Dexter' star will become the next Hedwig.

Actor Michael C. Hall will take over the main role in Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

As most of you know, Neil Patrick Harris kicked off the role and Andrew Rannells took over for a limited run. Michael will start in October and finish off in January. I've never thought of him as a Broadway star, but I'm sure he will do a good job.

First Look: Neil Patrick Harris in Broadway's 'Hedwig and the Angry Inch'

Neil said:
“I’ve lost 20 pounds. I’m in the craziest couture outfits, and I’ve got all this makeup on. But they made me custom heels, so at least those fit well.”
What do you think?

Hedwig and the Angry Inch might have a Sequel

If you liked Hedwig and the Angry Inch, get ready for a possible sequel.

Vulture reports:
Journalist Kevin Sessums writes that he recently had lunch with John Cameron Mitchell, who just finished the first draft of a sequel to his 2001 musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch, originally based on Mitchell's own stage play. (Stephen Trask will return as composer.)

What's it about? "Let’s just say it’s something that could only happen to Hedwig — a phantasmagoria with dollops of brutal reality interwoven into its multi-media narrative," says Sessums.
This could be cute.
