Talk about some young love.
The real life S. E. Hinton teen couple are engaged... Didn't see that coming.
Here's the word:
Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston say they're engaged and hope to get married within six weeks in Alaska.Palin, the daughter of 2008 vice-presidential candidate and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, is featured on the cover of Us Weekly with Johnston, holding their 18-month-old son, Tripp.
Palin and Johnston tell the magazine they reconnected while working out a custody plan and became engaged two weeks ago.
Sarah Palin and her husband, Todd, said in a statement on NBC's "Today" show Tuesday that they want what's best for their children and that Bristol believes in "redemption and forgiveness." Representatives for Palin did not immediately return messages from The Associated Press seeking comment.
Johnston recently acknowledged telling lies about the Palin family after he and Bristol broke up last year. He says he's apologized.
Wow, it's almost like some bad CW series in real time. So I guess we won't see anymore Levi in Playgirl or JetSet Studios flicks anytime soon.
Hmm, I wonder if this is a part of a plan for Moose Mess' future campaign?

Did not see that one coming. Does make you wonder what's really behind it.
I know this is about Levi and Bristol...but WTF kind of name is "Tripp"?
You just know Sarah has something to do with this. What with the millions of dollars she's getting for her speaking tours. I'll just bet Levi's bank account just went way up.
Maybe Levi was promised the male lead of the upcoming reality TV show about the Palins.
Sarah is going to run for president, but only to raise her speaking rates, so she needed to clean up the Bristol/Levi mess. Levi has probably gotten himself a nice little check among other things to clear the way for Ma Palin to talk about how her family values are better than...everyone's. I figured this relationship was happening again when he started backpedaling and apologizing last week.
Is it me, or does she look a bit different in the face?
Uh, why are they relevant again?
