At Chapel Hill: Three Muslim Students were Gunned Down

This story is so heartbreaking.

Last night, three Muslim-American students were gunned down by a disgruntled man. The students were Deah Shaddy Barakat, 23, his wife, Yusor Mohammad, 21, and her sister, Razan Mohammad Abu-Salha, 19. Deah was a dental student at UNC-Chapel Hill, and Yusor and Razan attended NC State.

The man who gunned them down is 46-year-old Craig Stephen Hicks.

He turned himself into police not too long after the murders. At this time, we don't know why he did this. Some articles are saying the murders were triggered over a parking issue, but nothing's been confirmed. However, we do know that he lived in the same neighborhood as the victims.

On a side note, Deah was a star student in the dental program. According to Colorlines, Deah was planning to travel to Turkey to be a part of Project Refugee Smiles to provide free dental care to Syrians fleeing civil war.

This is so sad and unfortunate that they lost their lives over nothing.

Will they send Jack Booted thugs to enforce it? Remains to be seen, but a simple study of history will show they once burned, destroyed and looted the state of Alabama. Georgia was burned almost to the ground, and in our state, Meridian Mississippi was destroyed by blue bellied sledgehammers in one day.

We call upon all Klansman and White Southern Nationalist to help in the massive protest's coming, Not by wearing your colors, but by joining in with the Christian community's protests that are surly coming against tyranical Federal judges. We have made the decision that we don't want to distract attention away from the issue, as anytime the Klan rides, we are made the issue by the zionist controlled media. Members are encouraged to lend a hand, make signs, recruit etc., but leave any insignia, colors, shirts etc at the house. We want to infiltrate these protests and make sure they are kept running in military fashion and not bullied by the outside agitators.

Gov. Sam Brownback rescinds protections for LGBT state employees in Kansas

Gov. Sam Brownback is a major asshole! Yesterday, this bastard rescinded a 2007 executive order protecting state employees from discrimination based on sexual orientation or sexual identity!

In place of that order, Brownback issued another order that he said “reaffirms the commitment of the State of Kansas to employment practices which do not discriminate based on race, color, gender, religion, national origin, ancestry or age.”

The civil rights protection was one of nine executive orders originally signed by Govs. Kathleen Sebelius and Mark Parkinson that Brownback rescinded Tuesday. Most of those orders established boards and commissions that Brownback said no longer meet.

“This action by the governor is an outrage,” said Tom Witt, executive director of Equality Kansas, a gay rights and civil rights organization based in Wichita. “Gay, lesbian, and transgender state employees across Kansas have trusted they would be safe from discrimination and harassment in their workplace, but Sam Brownback has, by erasing their job protections, declared ‘open season’ on every one of them.”

President Obama Welcomes SCOTUS plans to end “Patchwork” Marriage Laws

President Obama shared some great news about the marriage drama in the country.

In a Buzzfeed interview, he spoke about how marriage equality will be the law.

“My sense is that the Supreme Court is about to make a shift, one that I welcome, which is to recognize that — having hit a critical mass of states that have recognized same-sex marriage — it doesn’t make sense for us to now have this patchwork system,” Obama said in an interview with BuzzFeed News. “It’s time to recognize that under the equal protection clause of the United States [Constitution], same-sex couples should have the same rights as anybody else.”
Obama’s comments came on the second day in which same-sex couples were marrying in Alabama, the 38th state to allow same-sex couples to marry.

When asked about dumbass Roy Moore, Obama said:

“My recollection is that Judge Moore had a similar problem with a federal court ruling that you couldn’t put a huge Ten Commandments statue in the middle of your courthouse and, ultimately, federal law was obeyed, and I think that the same thing will end up happening here,” Obama said. “I think that the courts at the federal level will have something to say to him.”

In Mobile, Alabama: Couples file Emergency Motion to Force Probate Judge to Issue Marriage Licenses

The gay marriage battle continues in Alabama.

Four same-sex couples have asked Federal Judge Callie V. S. Granade to force Mobile County Probate Judge Don Davis to do his f*cking job! They demand for Davis to issue marriage licenses.

In their request to Judge Granade, the couples explained that each of them appeared at the Davis’s Mobile offices and were denied marriage licenses. The couples’ request explains that they are suffering serious harm each day that they continue to be excluded from marriage.

The Alabama couples are James Strawser and John Humphrey—who previously obtained a ruling from Judge Granade declaring that Alabama’s exclusion of same-sex couples from marriage is unconstitutional—and Meredith Miller and Anna Lisa Carmichael, Robert Povilat and Milton Persinger, and Kristy Simmons and Marshay Safford. The couples are represented by the National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR), Birmingham attorney Heather Fann, and the ACLU of Alabama.

Said NCLR Legal Director Shannon P. Minter: “While many same-sex couples in Alabama were able to marry today, many others were denied that basic freedom. We are hopeful that a ruling on this motion will provide clarity regarding the obligations of probate judges across the state and correct the misunderstanding generated by Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore, who has erroneously instructed those judges not to comply with the requirements of the federal Constitution. We are confident that all Alabamians, regardless of where in the state they live, will soon enjoy the freedom to marry.”

This is getting out of hand. Over 40 counties are denying same-sex couples the right to marry. Time to sue these bastards!
