Alan Keyes: Marriage Equality is the 'Archetype of all Crimes Against Humanity'

When you are losing the marriage, things get ugly.

Alan Keyes and some other bigots talked about Marriage Equality on the Stan Solomon' show. Let's just say they are no fans of gay marriage

Right Wing Watch reports:
Steve Davis, claimed that just because they “oppose homosexual marriage or homosexual adoptions, it doesn’t mean that we’re homophobes,” Solomon insisted that he is indeed a homophobe.
“Speak for yourself,” Solomon said, “I can’t stand the thought, the idea, the concept of homosexuality.”
“I don’t think I’m showing love for anyone if I encourage them or enable them or stand silently while they do something that’s going to kill them; the average homosexual lives half the adult life of the average heterosexual, fact,” Solomon maintained, as he went on to comparing homosexuality to drug abuse, drunk driving and swimming with sharks.
Keyes, who kicked his daughter out of his house after she came out of the closet, agreed with Solomon’s anti-gay statements.
Later, Keyes attacked Sen. Rob Portman’s for endorsing marriage equality after learning that his son is gay: “If you go down a road that satisfies your personal predilections and relationships and sacrifices the common good of the country, including the elementary institution by which civilization is sustained, then you’re not only derelict in your public duty, you are abandoning your obligation as a human being.”
“Frankly, people throw around words like ‘crime against humanity,’ I think that kind of disregard for the God-endowed natural rights of human being is the archetype of all crimes against humanity,” Keyes concluded, “and I think we have an entire elite faction that is now committed to committing such a crime against the American people.”

Foolishness Alert: Louie Gohmert Opposes Gun Control because Gay Marriage Leads to Bestiality

One of the dumbest men in Congress opposes gun control because he believes that gay marriage leads to beastiality?

Yeah, he really said that:
In fact, I had this discussion with some wonderful, caring Democrats earlier this week on the issue of, well, they said "surely you could agree to limit the number of rounds in a magazine, couldn't you? How would that be problematic?"
...

And I pointed out, well, once you make it ten, then why would you draw the line at ten? What's wrong with nine? Or eleven? And the problem is once you draw that limit ; it's kind of like marriage when you say it's not a man and a woman any more, then why not have three men and one woman, or four women and one man, or why not somebody has a love for an animal?

There is no clear place to draw the line once you eliminate the traditional marriage and it's the same once you start putting limits on what guns can be used, then it's just really easy to have laws that make them all illegal.
If you could see me right now, I'm shaking my head.

New Trailer: The Conjuring

Can you actually Present Your Best Self all the Time?

Someone said that you should always present your best self.

To be honest, that sounds really hard to do. In our daily lives, is it possible to show your best self? I don't think so, well at least I can't.

I am an emotional person. You can easily tell how I feel from my facial expression all day, every day. I can.t completely hide my feelings.

If I'm pissed or jealous, you best believe I will not be at my best self. Now, I think you can try to do so, but I also think reality will kick in.

What do y'all think, can this be done? Or is this good intentions?

LGBT Undocumented Immigrants Speak Out - VIDEO

10 Things I'm learning Right Now

  1. Self-reflection is just like crawling through mud with the occasional pieces of glass and metal.
  2. There's nothing wrong with being bitchy from time to time, gotta let it out like steam.
  3. Never run from heartache, face it head on and strong... Or in the best way you can.
  4. I'm a mess and I'm aware of that.
  5. If possible, be careful of falling for someone with lower self-esteem than you.
  6. Always communicate, never keep your real feelings hidden. It hurts everyone in the end.
  7. Try to figure out why you settle or accommodate for anything in your life.
  8. Stay healthy.
  9. Let go of anger and hold on to hope.
  10. When life gives you lemons, make a cocktail from them.

Kentucky Fried Marriage Equality Drama

Drama in my second home state.

A gay couple were arrested in Louisville, Ky., for protesting at a clerk's office for a marriage license, but wait, there's more:
The Reverend Maurice "Bojangles" Blanchard, 34, and his partner, Dominique James, 29, applied for a marriage license at the Jefferson County clerk's office January 22, and were denied, with officials citing Kentucky's ban on same-sex marriage. But the couple refused to leave the office at closing time, resulting in their arrest for trespassing, according to Louisville's Courier-Journal.

Now county prosecutors are attempting to silence any mention of the reason for the couple's action when they face trial for the trespassing charge, reports the Courier-Journal.

Ted Shouse, the attorney representing the gay Baptist minister, told the Courier-Journal that prosecutors are not only seeking to prohibit the defense from mentioning the nature of the couple's protest, but are also trying to increase the charge to second-degree trespassing, a misdemeanor punishable by as many as 90 days in jail, a $250 fine, or both.
I'm hoping for the best for this brave couple.
