Brian Brown must have magical powers. He's the executive director of the National Organization for Marriage, NOM, the idiotic group that is trying to stop gay marriage across the country.
However iff you read this article, you would think Monica Hesse, the writer of the article, was in awe of him:
Brown sits at the nearly empty desk in a nearly empty room -- the H Street NW office space NOM has sublet until the organization finds its own building and moves its staff down from Philadelphia. He is 35, red hair, solidly built, wearing a crisp blue shirt with a white collar. Instantly likable. He's a thoughtful talker, especially when discussing his "opposition," such as the HRC. "They were ahead of the curve but . . . I didn't see any reason why we couldn't do the same thing."
I guess she was trying to show us a different side of him... But is anyone really buying that?
No, many folks wasn't buying it at all. They sending many emails and letters to WaPo, either asking for Monica's resignation or her head.
In fact, Monica revealed that she is bi-sexual in hopes to ease the angry readers. Then WaPo's Ombudsman, Andrew Alexander had to weigh in by apologizing to the readers about the intent of the article. Andrew admitted that article fell short of the bigger issue and maybe toned down the Prince Charming image.
Hopefully, Monica learned a lesson.
