Check Out Bryan Singer's concept of Phoenix if he Directed X-Men 3

We really missed out

From Universo X-Men
Previously we disclose the UX has an interview with Famke, where the actress vents about what the film could have been if it had focused on her character, one of the most beloved of the Marvel Universe, Jean Grey, the Phoenix.
If you have not yet read the interview click here!

And after all this disclosure actress, more of pre-production materials were leaked on the internet, and we are here to spread the concept art of the film that has ever existed, X-Men 3 based entirely on the Dark Phoenix saga. That would have happened if the director Bryan Singer (X-Men: The Movie, X-Men 2, X-Men: DOFP and X-Men: Revelation) had also assumed the position, which did not happen because it took over the Superman movie and then the eternally criticized Brett Ratner, took his place.

It was Very Traumatizing for Bryan Singer to leave X-Men 3

It was hard for Bryan Singer to leave X-Men 3 (and we paid for his departure). In fact, it was really hard for him to walk away. He told Total Film the story:
“I’ve never told anybody this,” he begins, “but I found the whole letting go of the characters for X-Men 3 so traumatizing that a friend, who shall remain nameless, had to take me to a secret location and show me the reels so far, just so I could make my peace with it.”
I hope he makes it up for us in the new X-Men film.

Michael Dougherty's vision for X-Men 3

I should let go, but I can't especially when X2 and Trick R Treat screenwriter (and cutie) Michael Dougherty talks about his ideas he suggested to Bryan Singer for the X3.

"You found out was that Phoenix was going round the world taking things into her own hands and that she had basically returned as a god, which they did in X3. She had viewed herself as above the conflict, that she was here to end things on her terms, she was sick of the fighting and she was going to take things into her own hands and she did not give a s**t what the X-Men or the Brotherhood had to say about it.

"And ultimately the way it was going to end, at least the version I was pushing for, would be that Phoenix was kind of like the Starchild at the end of 2001, she didn't just get stabbed and die again, but she kind of chose to leave.

"The one idea that I loved, that I really wanted to do, was that Cyclops would build the Danger Room. He felt guilty that because the X-Men were too weak, they weren't strong enough or fast enough, that was the reason Jean died. If they were a ittle bit better at fighting, then she might still be alive. It was all about this guilt he had about her death and he built the Danger Room to train them to be better. In the end it really was about him not being able to let go of her and that causes the chaos and disruption in the movie and in the end it's about him letting her go.

"Ultimately she kind of becomes that cosmic force that Phoenix is known to be, she leaves Earth and becomes a god, or at least a higher level of intelligence, and she goes into the cosmos possibly to kick-start life somewhere else. The final scene for me would have been her telling Cyclops or her telling the X-Men 'I'll be watching.'"

He said Phoenix eventually realised her new-found abilities were causing chaos and destruction but could be used for creating life instead.

Dougherty added: "I would love to have done a huge mythic film that sets up it up for even more stories."

Interesting, what do you think?

Bryan Singer would love to return to the X-Men

I think this is the best thing I've heard today.

In a new interview, Singer admits wishing he'd stayed on to direct the third X-Men movie.

He had left the franchise to make Superman Returns, and Brett Ratner stepped in to finish the X-Men trilogy with 2006's X-Men: The Last Stand, which had a mixed response from fans and critics.

Singer adds that he might well be interested in the proposed X-Men Origins: Magneto prequel. And he'd get a warm welcome - X-Men producer Lauren Shuler Donner has said she would love to see Singer back in the mutant movie franchise.

Speaking to Total Film, Singer said: "I'm eternally intertwined with X-Men now. What takes an audience four hours to watch - the first two movies - took six years of my life. So, to not be part of it....It's a shame."

Asked whether he wished he had directed X-Men: The Last Stand, he admitted he had that feeling "before I was watching it, during watching it, after watching it."

Singer added: "It's weird for me to watch it, because I'm so close to the universe. And also Brett is a good friend of mine. But, of course, I would love to return to that universe."

So, Brett screwed us! He has no love from the X-Fans. Bryan, if you can, please redo the Phoenix saga. It's sad when the 90's cartoon did a better version. But I know you can do it justice.

WHAT IF Bryan Singer never left X-Men 3?

As some of y'all can tell, my heart was broken with X-Men 3. Brett Ratner ruined this for me and although it's been about 3 years, I'm still bitter about this.

But today, I thought about how it would've been if Bryan Singer would've stayed, instead of leaving for Superman Returns.

For Bryan, it was a opportunity of a lifetime to do a Superman movie. However, if he stayed on the X-Men this is how it would've turned out.

Jean Grey would have returned. The White Queen would have been introduced and use her powers to control Jean. Magneto takes notice and also tries to gain control of Jean with the White Queen's help. But their meddling causes Jean to lose control and go all Dark Phoenix. Overwhelmed by her powers, Jean makes Cyclops kill her, but her spirit survives and becomes a "Phoenix".

No Morlocks.
No "Cure".
No Twink ass Angel.
No overarching plotlines.

Just a story, a different story, but a better story than the mess we got.
It also hurts, really hurts, to know that if Joss Whedon was free from the Wonder Woman debacle, he could've directed the movie.

Ugggh!
