DNC comes for Trump and Rubio headlining Anti-LGBT Hate Convention

Trump and Marco Rubio are the headliners of a hate group meeting in Florida. This meeting has some of the most anti-LGBT figures out here today. For some reason the "champion of the Gays" thought he needed to be there.

Well, it didn't go unnoticed, a lot of us saw this mess and used social media to call it out. And the DNC had something to say as well.
Joint Statement from DNC Chair Donna Brazile and DNC LGBT Caucus Chair Earl Fowlkes:

"Instead of honoring the memory of those we lost at Pulse two months ago, Donald Trump and Marco Rubio have come to Orlando to headline a gathering of some of the nation’s most incendiary anti-gay bigots. We at the DNC join all people of good conscience in expressing our solidarity with the Orlando LGBT community as they continue to grieve the deadliest shooting in American history. We suggest Trump and Rubio disavow these anti-gay extremists who have likened gay people to Nazis and characterized HIV/AIDS as divine ‘penalties' for being gay. Failing to do so will be yet another example of the utter lack of judgment that makes Trump unfit to serve."

Interesting Quote: Marco Rubio

I know people are angry. I know people are frustrated. But leadership is not about making people even angrier and even more frustrated and asking them to give you power so you can go after another group that you want to blame for people’s anger and frustration.

Real leadership is recognizing people are angry, recognizing people are frustrated, and then showing them a way forward that gives them hope and a belief that we can make things better. That’s real leadership.

South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley will endorse Marco Rubio

This is interesting.

Nikki is putting her eggs in Rubio's basket. Reports are claiming that she will endorse Rubio for president. You may ask, "Does that matter?" Actually, it does.

Her endorsement was highly sought after in 2012 and seriously courted this year. Plus, Nikki has an 81% approval rating in South Carolina. So her words have power... I guess.

Marco is said to be happy about this endorsement, it could be very helpful to him over the weekend.

Marco Rubio creates a Board to Repeal Marriage Equality

This fu*ker...

Marco Rubio has formed a Marriage & Family Advisory Board to attack Same-Sex Marriage. His plan is to repeal Obergefell.

From his website

This morning, the Marco Rubio for President campaign is excited to announce the formation of Marco Rubio’s Marriage & Family Advisory Board. Marco believes the family is the most important institution in society. He understands that in a vibrant culture of marriage and family everyone benefits, but in a culture where the importance of families is neglected all sorts of problems result. You cannot have a strong nation without strong people, and you cannot have strong people without strong values. Right and wrong. Good and bad. That is learned from your values instilled in you in the family. It is irreplaceable.

“The Supreme Court’s decisions in Windsor and Obergefell are only the most recent example of our failure as a society to understand what marriage is and why it matters,” said Eric Teetsel, the Rubio Campaign’s Director of Faith Outreach. “For decades, we have taken for granted the unique and necessary contributions of moms and dads in the lives of their children, from lax divorce laws to marriage penalties in the tax code and the failure of husbands and wives to live up to their marriage vows. Marco understands the many causes of family breakdown and the consequences. He has pulled together a board of experts who understand the same and have devoted themselves to rebuilding a vibrant culture of marriage and family.”

Rubio, girl... Have a seat.

Marco Rubio feels 'Out of Place' in America

Marky Marco feels like he's left out in the rain. Yes, it's no longer a great country when you're getting called out for your bigotry and Marco is trying to change that. Watch this clip

He said:
“You have a country where people are told, this is a country where you’re going to be judged on your merits and on your hard work, and that is not happening. Increasingly, Americans feel out of place, because it seems like the people who have access to power and influence win. And everybody else is left on the outside looking in. And then people that hold traditional values are often described as bigots and haters.”
Yes, they are. Pure and simple

As President, Marco Rubio will overturn Same Sex Marriage - VIDEO

If you can't see the video, Marco said this about overturning the law:
“I disagree with it on constitutional grounds. As I have said–I think it’s bad law. And for the following reason. If you want to change the definition of marriage, then you need to go to state legislatures and get them to change it. Because states have always defined marriage. And that’s why some people get married in Las Vegas by an Elvis impersonator. And in Florida, you have to wait a couple days when you get your permit. Every state has different marriage laws. But I do not believe that the court system was the right way to do it.”

On creating an amendment:
“As I’ve said, that would be conceding that the current Constitution is somehow wrong and needs to be fixed. I don’t think the current Constitution gives the federal government the power to regulate marriage. That belongs at the state and local level. And that’s why if you want to change the definition of marriage, which is what this argument is about--It’s not about discrimination. It is about the definition of a very specific, traditional, and age-old institution. That definitional change, if you want to change it, you have a right to petition your state legislature and your elected representatives to do it. What is wrong is that the Supreme Court has found this hidden constitutional right that 200 years of jurisprudence had not discovered and basically overturn the will of voters in Florida where over 60 percent passed a constitutional amendment that defined marriage in the state constitution as the union of one man and one woman.”

Interesting Quote: Marco Rubio

“We are clearly called, in the Bible, to adhere to our civil authorities, but that conflicts with also a requirement to adhere to God’s rules. When those two come in conflict, God’s rules always win. In essence, if we are ever ordered by a government authority to personally violate and sin, violate God’s law and sin, if we’re ordered to stop preaching the gospel, if we’re ordered to perform a same-sex marriage as someone presiding over it, we are called to ignore that. We cannot abide by that because government is compelling us to sin.”

Rubio on Gay Marriage
“The debate is about how do you define an institution, the institution of marriage, which has been defined the same way for all of human history. That’s what the debate is about. It’s not about discriminating against anyone. The debate is about how do you define an institution.”
Hmm, okay.

Jake Tapper to Marco Rubio: ‘You’re the Candidate of Yesterday’ on Gay Marriage

Interesting Quote: Marco Rubio

Well, to be fair, I haven't read the change in detail to give you an opinion on it specifically, but I'll tell you where I stand. I don't believe you can discriminate against people. So I don't believe it's right for a florist to say, I'm not going to provide you flowers because you're gay. I think there's a difference between not providing services to a person because of their identity, who they are or who they love, and saying, I'm not going to participate in an event, a same-sex wedding, because that violates my religious beliefs. There's a distinction between those two things. So, certainly, you can't not — it's immoral and wrong to say, I'm not going to allow someone who's gay or lesbian to use my restaurant, stay in my hotel, or provide photography service to them because they're gay. The difference here is, we're not talking about discriminating against a person because of who they are, we're talking about someone who's saying — what I'm talking about, anyway, is someone who's saying, I just don't want to participate as a vendor for an event, a specific event that violates the tenets of my faith.
