An Evening With Labelle
My partner is so wonderful. He got me a ticket to see the best girl group ever, Labelle. Made up of Nona Hendrix, Sarah Dash, and Patti Labelle, these divas rocked the house.
I was very lucky to have a seat in the 10th row center to these ladies in their glory. It was awesome! All of them are in their 60s and they still look and sound perfect.
I never thought I would ever see them live and back together. I encourage all of y'all to listen to a few of their songs. You know Lady Marmalade, but they have done many other great songs. Goddess, what a night!

Music Moment
I am so wired about this election. I am so anxious it's a little scary. There's so much happening right now and so much at stake. I don't know what to say. So I have a performance from my fairy godmother, Patti Labelle with her girls (Sarah & Nona) and Cher (poor thing) singing a song that matches my mood about this election.
So here it is "What Can You Do For Me"

The Phoenix will fly again!

There are girl groups and then, there's Labelle!
Labelle!!!!
The only true girl group!
Labelle is back!
Patti Labelle, Nona Hendryx, and Sarah Dash, R&B's most original and fabulous trio are reuniting by Verve Records to deliver their first full-length studio album in more than 33 years.
This is amazing! This group is...I can't explain it. The power and passion of their voices is beyond anything we have now. I've always been a fan of them separately, especially Patti. This news is the highlight of my month!
