Yesterday, Marvel Studios revealed their movie line up. In that impressive list of films, Captain Marvel was announced for 2018.
Fanboys and girls are completely geeking out over this news. I mean, it's Captain FRAKKING Marvel! Carol Danvers!
Now, we just need to know who will play this major Marvel character. Katee Sackhoff is a fan favorite, but here are 5 other ladies who could step into the role.

I like the options.....
But I am totally Team Katee Sackhoff on this one tho.
They all sound fine, but everyone has their own 'feel' for a character based on their personal experience with their books, and of course mine differs.
I'm thinking more gravitas and grit--Carol is not 'merely' pretty. Stars like Julia Stiles, Lisa Weil (How to Get Away with Murder,) Claire Danes (Homeland,) and Emily Van Camp (Revenge) come to mind.
But, "maybe that's just me!"
