Ralph Lauren created these official Opening Ceremony and Closing Ceremony parade uniforms for the U.S. Olympic teams. Um, well, these look hideous. I'm sorry, but they do. This is hard for me to say, because RL is staple label in my closet, but this... No Ma'am.

USA Olympic Opening Ceremony uniforms are Not Cute

Ralph Lauren = Hot Mess.
It is very RL.
I can't believe the same person who made that beautiful plum colored scarf I bought designed these late entries for last month's Worst Christmas Sweater contest.
Ralph needed to edit, edit, and edit some more!
Fail.
I'll admit it, they look a little like the 80's threw up in a veterans' retirement home... But the only reason RL went so far as to plaster American symbols all over this signature wear is because he was told by the Olympic board to avoid "over-Americanizing" the Olympians' uniforms to avoid brining extra attention to the U.S. in Russia with our shaky ground and such. Guess he didn't like being told the limits of his creative aptitude.
