How are y'all doing? Just wanted to check in see how things are going in your lives?
Me, I'm tired. I've been traveling a lot and trying to catch up at work. I'm not taking classes this summer, but I'm working on 2 scripts. One's a pilot about college administrators and the other is a film about an old high school crush.
My graphic novel, Strange Lore is still coming along. I'm in awe of the artists drawing my characters. My book artist Kelvin will start working on the pages this weekend, I can't wait to see how he brings the story to life.
Love life is good and in all, things couldn't be better. I just need to take a breather.

I am trying to get re employed. just finished a few vocational trainings and had a job interview at the maximum security prison. People keep asking me how I am going to work there and I am gay an i see the ignorance is still very big here with some folks.
I got promoted to morning producer at my job, which has affected my blogging schedule. I have managed to write a couple of op-eds for African Americans for Humanism though.
Also, I written a few short stories, one of which will be in next month's Forge Journal. It's the very first time my fiction's been published, so I'm excited, especially after the rejections.
I still need to start revising the first draft of my novel, but just haven't made/found the time to print it out.
I'm planning to turn a longish short story into a full novel or novella, which will probably be exhausting and thrilling lol. But I've been neglecting a fantasy novel/novella I started on about a year ago. So I have a lot of writing, or typing, ahead of me.
I'd still like to do something musically, even though it's kind of taken a backseat to my writer ambitions. But it'd be cool to make something original. I just need a partner in crime.
Personal life/friendships are cool.
got let go from my most recent temp gig on Friday, after the manager dicked me along about it becoming permanent for 2 months and started having her cunt-monkey, house negro shadow me and bad gossip about me to her. Monday I'll start doing some work at a friend's toturing school.
I took some time off from my weekend P/T job and need to do that more often. I need time to be a real woman. And to decide when I'm gonna go back to school for pre-reqs to get into a xray tech program.
I went to a free dance class in Bryant Park, saw Prometheus (loved it) and Battle Royale (liked it) Due Date (was OK) and went on my first actual date.
