You know, RI was at that point but they never took it to the point MD did.
We have over 127 faith leaders in RI that support marriage equality. And they'd come and testify sure.
But the legislature pulled the rug out from under us. No marriage equality, only civil unions. Which I would imagine, once DOMA falls will become marriages because when DOMA is gone, and we still can't get the federal benefit because it's not a marriage, the lawsuits against the state will follow.
And why am I posting with blogger credentials? Because the damned capcha and openID issue has not yet been fixed.
