My List of Big Things to look out for in Comic Books for 2012

Comics will be epic in 2012. There are a lot of interesting stories coming and the results could change the game for a long time. So I'm going to touch on some of the big things coming in the world of comics.

Donna Troy - Donna has been absent from DC's New 52, or is she? Could she be the Mysterious Woman lingering in the background? Or will she play a bigger role? Remember, Donna is an anomaly in the DC universe. Her deaths and resurrections usually has a purpose. Could this be one of purposeful moments?

Phoenix - The Phoenix force is returning. What does that mean for Hope, Jean Grey and the X-Men? Everything!

New 52 - The reboot of DC Comics really caused a stir. While was fun, it was a little crazy (Wonder Woman getting a Dad, Superman in jeans, Barbara Gordon walking). It will be interesting to see where the stories will take us.

Films - 2012 will bring some BIG comic book movies like: 'The Avengers', 'The Dark Knight Rises' and 'Man of Steel'. I hope they deliver or we won't see anymore CBMs for awhile.

X-Men vs The Avengers - Someone dies and the both teams will change forever. But how? We will have to wait and see.

Watchmen 2 - This has caused a divide amongst comic book fans. The possible prequel will give us a deeper story on the 'Moore' heroes, but will it be worth it?
