to jog my brain, i went to http://home.austarnet.com.au/petersykes/topscifi/lists_tv.html

my faves
1. THE X-FILES - the first sci fi show for me that wasn't campy, and had all around quality like any Emmy winning program.
2. FIREFLY -even with a short run, every episode was perfect.
3. LOST - loved it. awesome finale. groundbreaking show that challenged it'a audience, challenged storytelling. It showed that series storytelling has a format more like a book, therefore better than movies.

1) Star Trek: TNG - All classics (at least from Season 3 on that is).

2) Buffy - Admittedly, never watched an episode while it ran. I was forced to start watching by my partner, and it's a deep regret that I waited so long.

3) The Prisoner - The McGoohan one, of course. I never think of weather balloons in quite the same way.

I'd have to choose Voyager, Buffy, and Doctor Who. Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, and Dollhouse would be next. We just got the first two seasons of True Blood, but the first season was damaged in transit, so we are waiting for that to come in to start the series.
