Hugh Jackman talks about 'The Wolverine' Script
With Darren Aronofsky no longer on the Wolverine flick, many of us were scared that we would get another sad X-Men movie. But, Hugh Jackman believes we will get a great film:
“We had a script that was under Darren Aronofsky’s directorial—it’s 85 percent the same. Darren took it in a Darren Aronofsky way and it’s a version I know fans would have liked to have seen – I would have loved to have seen it. James Mangold’s version of the script brought Mark Bomback on. We always had a strong base there. This is the best script we have had, which is precisely why Darren signed on.Good, keep as much 'Darren' on this movie as possible. We need a good mutant flick.
I tried to get Darren to do X3 and Wolverine and he was always like, ‘It’s not really for me.’ I knew he was looking for a comic book movie and he read this one and he goes, ‘Hey, this is the best one I’ve ever read.’ So there is a lot of meat on the bone there. Now, Mark and Jim have taken it and I think that it as strong, if not stronger, than what we would have had with Darren.”

Interesting Quote: Herman Cain
"I happen to think that maybe they were booing the whole 'don't ask, don't tell' repeal more so than booing that soldier. But we didn't know that. In retrospect, because of the controversy it has created and because of the different interpretations that it could have had ... that would have been appropriate."On ABC: This Week, Herman claimed he would have defended the booed gay solider.
Courage Campaign files a Formal Complaint against the Stop SB 48 Campaign's Mess
Once this video got out, LGBT activists got to working. Now the Courage Campaign is going full fledged against Stop SB 48 and their broke ass tactics.
Courage Campaign filed a formal complaint with the California Attorney General, District Attorney, and the Oceanside City Attorney on behalf of Max Disposti, who witnessed the events, requesting an investigation (and possible prosecution) into signature-gathering tactics used by Stop SB 48 volunteers. Alleging that SB 48 could expose children to sexual predators is simply unacceptable, and Stop SB 48 campaign and their volunteers should be held accountable. We’ll keep you informed as this proceeds. Here more on the code:
California Elections Code, Section 18600:More to come of this issue. Also click "source" to sign the complaint.

Eddie Long's Church wants to Recover Settlement Money from the Sex Scandal
![]() |
| Jamal Parris and Spencer LeGrande were among the five men who accused Bishop Eddie Long of sexual coercion |
The Black Church at their best... They want to get their money back from Eddie Long's sex scandals.
Attorneys representing Eddie Long's church have informed three of the five young men who accused the pastor of sexual coercion that they intend to recover nearly $1 million from their financial settlement, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution has learned. This is some brand new mess right here. You can't get your money back! But let's take a real look at this issue. Since this was settled out of court and we had no idea what the deals were between the men... Does Eddie want those detail flashed all over the news?
The letter, sent this week by the Atlanta law firm Drew Eckl & Farnham, alleges that Jamal Parris, Spencer LeGrande and Centino Kemp violated terms of a confidentiality agreement outlined in the settlement with Long and New Birth Missionary Baptist Church. The firm is seeking at least $900,000 already paid the three accusers, according to people involved in the settlement but not authorized to speak publicly. That figure is a portion of the total settlement with the three men.
Financial terms of that settlement have not been disclosed but, based on the letter and the fact each of the young men were paid equitably, the total comes to at least $1.5 million.
New Birth members, y'all are about to learn more about your faithful leader.
Thanks, Nelson for the heads up.

Rick Perry has a Racism Problem and it's called "Niggerhead"
So Ricky, when you try to run for President. Everything comes out... Everything.
Washington Post reports:
"In the early years of his political career, Rick Perry began hosting fellow lawmakers, friends and supporters at his family's secluded West Texas hunting camp, a place known by the name painted in block letters across a large, flat rock standing upright at its gated entrance. 'Niggerhead,' it read."This is so unacceptable. And I'm sure this will come up in the next debate. I think this is the middle stage of Rick Perry's slow political death.
"Ranchers who once grazed cattle on the 1,070-acre parcel on the Clear Fork of the Brazos River called it by that name well before Perry and his father, Ray, began hunting there in the early 1980s... But the name of this particular parcel did not change for years after it became associated with Rick Perry, first as a private citizen, then as a state official and finally as Texas governor... As recently as this summer, the slablike rock -- lying flat, the name still faintly visible beneath a coat of white paint -- remained by the gated entrance to the camp."
NOM thinks it's Possible to Change Homosexual Orientation
On NOM's wack-ass website, they posted some stupid piece of info about changing your sexual orientation. Here's the post:
Many professional voices proclaim that it is impossible to change homosexual orientation, and that the attempt to change is commonly and inherently harmful. Psychologists Stanton L. Jones (Wheaton College, IL) and Mark A. Yarhouse (Regent University) have just published in the respected, peer-reviewed Journal of Sex and Marital Therapy the final results of their longitudinal study of individuals seeking sexual orientation change through involvement in a variety of Christian ministries affiliated with Exodus International.Really? Whatever, this is not clear or true, but please see this mess for yourself. The website is www.exgaystudy.org
The results show change to be possible for some, and the attempt not harmful on average.
