What if: We actually stopped the "GAyTM"

Many gay activists are telling us to stop donating to the DNC and only support folks that truly support us.

So let's imagine we actually got fed up and stop giving money to the DNC.

The next question is, "What do we do with it?"

These same gay activists said to support the ones who support us, right? So would that be some or most of the members of Dems? Believe it or not, they are our allies, we don't have a stronger group elsewhere. Repubs could care less and the supposed 3rd party is on life support.

You can give it to a LGBT organization that supports our rights. Well, who would that be?
The EAA is falling apart and most groups lack the people power or direction. The next best thing is, well... the HRC. You may hate them, but they are closer to the White House/politicians and have tons of support. Apparently, not every LGBT person is done with them yet.

Start our own group? We could, but can we establish a clear leader, let alone a group that has a mission, a goal and a plan? So far, that's been the hump we can't get over. But it can be done!

And on a side note, do we know how much we are actually giving the DNC? If our numbers are not as big as the other minority groups, what impact would that make?

I'm not trying to be mean or difficult. I'm writing about this because, I care about the state of our community. However, I'm a realist and while it seems cute to withhold our money, we need to have a concrete plan.

I'm sorry this became a long speech, but I'm passionate about our future.

What was spent in the Maine Battle?

That's a lot of money used against our happiness. These so called "religious" groups could have used this money to save schools, buy kids toys for the holidays and give families a meal on Thanksgiving.

This is just sad to see what hate can do.

7 possible Donors to NOM

You know, I'm almost enjoying NOM. They have provided this year's best comedy act since "Dick in a Box".

Their drama du jour is their funding...Who's footing the bill? Californians Against Hate has requested copies of their IRS 990 reports. By law, NOM is suppose to have this info available for public view. They also sent two certified letters to the NOM's office on March 18, and still have received no response.

With no info or response from NOM, I wonder who's really behind this mess. So I have a list of possible suspects.

• Cobra-it would be perfect for them to cause a national divide

• Dick Cheney's secret branch-since his office was outside of the law, he could do anything. Besides it is his way of punishing his daugther.

• The Taliban-it's possible.

• The Hellfire Club-they supported the making of the Sentinels against their own kind
  

• Dr. Claw and the evil Organization MAD

• The government of Pottsylvania- we haven't heard from Boris and Natasha in a while

• KAOS, the international organization of evil.

Anything is possible, but I think we and Mormons know who's paying for those busted TV ads.

Did the Mormons break Laws to pass Prop 8

A news site called, American News Project created an clip discussing how far did the Mormons go in securing Prop 8.

We know the money raised in support of Prop 8 played a huge part in its success. And the Mormon church has said time and time again they only contribute just a few thousand dollars on the 'Yes' campaign. They claimed not to be the full force behind it, but if you look at the websites and some media, their names are all over it.

As they continue to play innocent, American News Project has revealed some interesting info that could lead to the possible truth of the Mormon church's role.
