"Fans" Whine over Star Wars' John Boyega in a Stormtrooper Suit

Star Wars: The Force Awakens release a teaser last week.

In it, we saw the debut of 22-year-old John Boyega, who was dressed as a Stormtrooper. While many cheered this teaser, many were upset that the stormtrooper was Black.

John was cool about this. He posted this statement on his Instagram:

But really, folks. What is the deal ass deal? For all we know, he could be in disguise. It's so ridic that "fans" are acting so childish over this?

So, he's Black, so what! The stormtroopers are clones from Jango Fett... The actor who plays Jango is a person of color. What's the issue, "fans"?

Lord, these folks are trying it!

SlashFilm and Io9 are reporting that this GIF could be from the teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

SlashFilm also reports that the teaser might be shown in a limited number of theaters during the Thanksgiving Holiday.

These sources are usually good, so it could be possible.
