In the voting booths, folks elected the first Black lesbian as state legislator, as well as, the first gay Asian-American to the city council yesterday.
Simone Bell and Alex Wan made history in the runoff elections. Simone will represent in the Georgia State House and Alex will represent District 6.
This is great news and I hope to hear great things about these two.
