President Obama to Sign the LGBT Job Discrimination Executive Order

President Barack Obama is set to sign an executive order banning workplace discrimination against LGBT workers of federal contractors and the federal government.

The neat part is there are no additional religious exemptions in the executive order. And, sexual orientation and gender identity have been added to the executive order.

President Obama should sign the EO this coming Monday.

Major LGBT Orgs No Longer Support ENDA

Due to the religious exemptions foolishness within the current ENDA proposal, The American Civil Liberties Union, Gay & Lesbian Advocates & Defenders, Lambda Legal, the National Center for Lesbian Rights, and Transgender Law Center have dropped their support.
