Oprah endorses Hillary Clinton

She did it!

Oprah is here for Hillary Clinton for president. She said this during an interview on “Good Morning America.”
“I will get behind the one. I’m with her. I have to say I’m with her. I would also say, that regardless of your politics, you cannot be a woman in the world and not see that this is a monumental time for women breaking the ceiling. Talk about breaking the ceiling!”

OWN puts the Michael Sam documentary on Hold

After much consideration, Oprah's OWN network has decided to put the Michael Sam documentary on hold.

Erik Logan, the president of OWN said:
“After careful consideration and discussion with the St. Louis Rams, the untitled Michael Sam project has been postponed, allowing Michael the best opportunity to achieve his dream of making the team. OWN is about elevating and empowering people to achieve their best. It’s clear that we, along with the world, recognize the important opportunity that Michael now has in this moment. We will continue to support him in his journey to earn a spot playing for the Rams.”
Michael's agent stated:
“After today’s meeting with the Rams, we collectively feel it is best to postpone the project. This will allow for Michael to have a total focus on football and will ensure no distractions to his teammates. Everybody involved remains committed to this project and understands its historical importance as well as its positive message.”
Makes sense to me.

OWN set to produce Michael Sam documentary

Oprah Winfrey's network, OWN, has ordered a new series centered around Michael Sam. The series will follow him through his journey to the St. Louis Rams.

She stated:
“We are honored that Michael is trusting us with his private journey in this moment that has not only made history but will shape it forever,” said Winfrey. “I am proud of the focus on authentic storytelling in our new documentary series format. The next real-life story we follow in The Untitled Michael Sam Project promises to spark valuable, important discussion on life in America today. Acceptance and illumination start here.”
Michael said:
“Like every player out there working to make a team right now, my focus is on playing football to the very best of my ability. I am determined. And if seeing my story helps somebody else accept who they are and to go for their dreams too, that’s great. I am thankful to Oprah for her support and excited to work together.”
This is big time

Interesting Quote: Lady Gaga

"Other than this interview, Oprah, I do not intend to speak to anyone for a very long time. No press, no television, if my mom calls and says, 'Did you hear about...' I shut it all off."
I will co-signed on that

Interesting Quote: Oprah

"I'm not a lesbian. I'm not even kind of a lesbian. And the reason why it irritates me is because it means that somebody must think I'm lying. That's number one. Number two: why would you want to hide it? That is not the way I run my life."
