Gingrich or Christie could Trump’s running mate

Donald Trump’s campaign is trying to get a VP candidate.

Nobody is running up for this position and no sensible GOP person wants that stigma. However, there are a couple of front runners and they are the worst of the worst.

Former House speaker Newt Gingrich and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

Two embattled, disgraced embarrassments... Both losers in so many ways. There are others, like Jeff Sessions and Ben Carson, but seriously, the GOP better have someone in mind to replace Trump because this mess is tragic.

Log Cabin Republicans's Interim Executive Director Gregory T. Angelo believed Newt Gingrich would be a Great President

The Bizarro group know as the Log Cabin Republicans have named the new Interim Executive Director, Gregory T. Angelo.

Okay, that's cute, but here's the thing, Gregory is a little special. This man thought Newt Gingrich would be a great President.

He also supported Romney for president. I'm not sure if they are planning move forward or hoping for change, but with this leadership, I think it's more of the same.

Interesting Quote: Newt Gingrich

"The Republican party is incapable of competing at that level. First of all, she's very formidable as a person. She's a very competent person. She's married to the most popular Democrat in the country; they both think [it] would be good for her to be president. It makes it virtually impossible to stop her for the nomination.

In addition to having Bill Clinton's support, Hillary Clinton would also have the backing of President Barack Obama, who will still be a "relatively popular president. Trying to win that will be truly the Super Bowl."

Newt the Hut is Over 4 million dollars in Debt

Newt's broke, y'all. At the end of March, he was over 4 million dollars in debt. And for some reason, he is still in the race.

HuffPo reports:

The debts run up by the campaign in March include payments for ordinary campaign consulting work, massive spending on private jets, expenses at a private security firm, and payments to staffers who had to cover their own travel and lodging expenses.

The campaign's most absurd unpaid expenses were more than $1 million to the private jet company Moby Dick Airways, nearly $450,000 to a security firm, and more than $500,000 in travel reimbursements and other payments to individual staffers and consultants.

The nearly $450,000 owed to The Patriot Group, a security firm based in Virginia, is in spite of the Secret Service providing protection beginning March 6. Gingrich's campaign made good on another payment totaling $31,500 to The Patriot Group in March. In February, a Ron Paul supporter filed suit against the Gingrich campaign and The Patriot Group accusing a security officer from the firm of stomping on his foot, causing a fracture.
Newt's over, it was fun teasing him though.

Newt Gingrich’s check bounced... Somebody's broke!

In order to participate in Utah's presidential primary election, you have to pay the $500 fee to qualify. Well, Newt the Hut wrote a check for the fee and that check bounced.
Utah Elections Director Mark Thomas said a designated agent for the Gingrich campaign brought the filing papers and a check for $500 in March, but the state was notified by the bank that the check had bounced. He said the office has tried to contact the Gingrich campaign through the telephone number and email provided on the application, but has not received a response.

Recently, the state sent a certified letter to the campaign, stating that if the fee isn’t paid by April 20, Gingrich will be disqualified and will not be on the ballot.
This is a hot ass mess, but it's funny as hell.

Interesting Quote: Newt Gingrich

What the president said, in a sense, is disgraceful. It’s not a question of who that young man looked like. Any young American of any ethnic background should be safe, period. We should all be horrified no matter what the ethnic background.

Is the president suggesting that if it had been a white who had been shot, that would be OK because it didn’t look like him. That’s just nonsense dividing this country up. It is a tragedy this young man was shot. It would have been a tragedy if he had been Puerto Rican or Cuban or if he had been white or if he had been Asian American of if he’d been a Native American. At some point, we ought to talk about being Americans. When things go wrong to an American, it is sad for all Americans. Trying to turn it into a racial issue is fundamentally wrong. I really find it appalling.

Gingrich says TV show GCB is anti-Christian

This is why this bitch won't be president. Newt the Hut loves to talk and right now, he's talking about ABC's GCB.

He said:

"Here's to show you the biases of the elite media, look at the new show that's on that has the word 'Christian' in it and I want you to take the exact name, drop out Christian and put in Muslim. And ask yourself, is there any network that would have dared to run a show like that and you know the answer is not a one because anti-Christian bigotry is just fine in the entertainment industry but they have to be very protective of Islam."
Ho please, you cheated on your wives. You are anti-Christian.

Donald Dump Trump will endorse Mitt Romney, NOT Newt the Hut

Drama in crazyville! It was reported that Donald Trump would endorse Newt, but now, he is backing Mittens.

What happen? Politico reports:

We reported, along with the New York Times and the Associated Press among others, last night that Donald Trump is expected to endorse Newt Gingrich, according to sources around his campaign. The Times went first with the news in terms of national outlets.

What a difference 12 hours makes - Trump's endorsement is not likely to go to Gingrich, others said, and may in fact go to Mitt Romney when he makes his announcement at 12:30 p.m.
Matt Drudge, who has a relationship with top Romney officials, this morning - linking to our Gingrich story - was among the first to indicate it would be Romney.

Romney sources told POLITICO late this morning that the candidate will get the backing of The Donald.
The endorsement of Romney would come after serious lobbying from some supporters of the frontrunner, according to several sources.

It would also make more sense, since Trump typically tends to like to go a with a winner.
I don't think Romney cares, but it has to be a blow the Newt's ego... Maybe.
