Here's what we know about Navy Yard Shooting Suspect Aaron Alexis

So this is what we know.

Aaron Alexis is dead
He comes from Fort Worth, Texas
Due to a weapon incident, he was kicked out of the U.S. Navy
In 2010, Aaron was charged in a shooting incident at his apartment complex, no one was hurt

Alexis enlisted on May 5, 2007, and achieved a rank of aviation electrician’s mate 3rd class. He first reported to recruit training command in Great Lakes, Ill., that May. From there, he received professional training and was detailed to the commander at the logistics support wing fleet in January 2008. He served at the logistics support squadron in Fort Worth from February 2008 through January 2011, at which point he was reportedly discharged for the 2010 gun incident. Along the way, Alexis won two awards: a National Defense Service Medal and a Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. 

Alexis at one point had a job at a Thai restaurant in the Fort Worth area, where he waited occasionally on employees of the Star Telegram. They recounted their interactions with Alexis in a video posted Monday, describing him as "geeky" but generally nice. An employee at the Happy Bowl Thai restaurant in White Settlement told The Huffington Post that Alexis stopped working there four months ago.

I've been waiting for the right time to post about the Navy Yard shooting, I guess no time is the right time.

The news is saying one to three gunmen opened fire at the headquarters of the Naval Sea Systems Command in Navy Yard. Twelve were killed and several others injured,one of the gunmen were killed as well. More could be dead.

One of the gunmen is a white male in his middle 40s, the other man was described as a Black male in his middle 40s as well. Both were wearing military outfits, but not identified as military.
