Sad news for Elton.
He tried to adopt an Ukrainian baby name Lev, however he was told that he was too old and not "married" by traditional standards.
According to the Ukraine ministry, adoptive parents must be married and be a man and woman. They do not accept gay marriage as traditional marriage.
I hope Elton keeps trying. If he and his partner are willing to love and care for Lev, then nothing should stop that. It is foolish to deny a child a loving family.
