Kate Bush speaks on David Bowie

Kate Bush paid tribute to David Bowie on her Facebook page.

The Goddess said:

David Bowie had everything. He was intelligent, imaginative, brave, charismatic, cool, sexy and truly inspirational both visually and musically. He created such staggeringly brilliant work, yes, but so much of it and it was so good. There are great people who make great work but who else has left a mark like his? No one like him.
I’m struck by how the whole country has been flung into mourning and shock. Shock, because someone who had already transcended into immortality could actually die. He was ours. Wonderfully eccentric in a way that only an Englishman could be.

Whatever journey his beautiful soul is now on, I hope he can somehow feel how much we all miss him.

Kate Bush returns to the Stage

After 35 years, the icon Kate Bush will return to the stage again!

Kate will play 15 shows at London’s Eventim Apollo starting August 26th. It is a part of her new Before the Dawn series of shows.

I'm excited, but I wish she would come to the US. We need her here too.

But I'm glad she's back on stage.

Kate Bush appointed CBE, the Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire

The woman who is the personification of real music has been given the highest honor. Kate Bush was awarded a CBE for her contributions to music.

A CBE is the Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.

It's a frakking big deal

Kate said:

"I feel deeply honored to be included in this list. It's a great surprise and I'm really delighted. Thanks to everyone who's encouraged and supported my work over the years."

Kate has been and still is an inspiration to many musical artists. Her music is timeless and so powerful. I am in awe of her and she is a true icon of the arts.

As gays go all 'Beatles' for Britney Spears and Lady Gaga new CDs, this gay takes all that energy and moves it to this TRUE artist, Kate Bush! It is reported that she has a new CD coming!

Kate Bush will release a new album this year, reports suggest.

The singer, whose last record was released in 2005, is said to be putting out a new album this year with longtime label EMI.

Blog website WOTYOUGOT said: "We've just been informed that the Kate Bush will be releasing a new album in 2011, via EMI Records."

Bush has released eight studio albums, all of which have charted inside the top ten. Her last effort Ariel peaked at number three and went Platinum in the UK.

Some folks didn't like Ariel but I thought it was great. I hope this new release reminds us about the true divas still in the game.
