'Glee' Actor Mark Salling Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography... No joke!

I saw this over at TMZ, which is basically the truth. They report:

We're told the LAPD's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force obtained a warrant and served it Tuesday morning, as first reported by the TV show "Crime Watch Daily." We're told cops searched Salling's computer at his Sunland home and found hundreds of images. At the time of this post, Salling is being taken to the police station for booking.Our sources say an ex-girlfriend of Salling's tipped off cops and they investigated before the raid to make sure it wasn't a revenge allegation.Salling has had his share of legal problems. In 2013 he was sued by a woman who claimed he committed sexual battery on her by forcing sex without a condom. Salling denied the charge and the case settled.

Glee will do a Whitney Houston Tribute

I don't know about this gang. Glee is doing a Whitney Houston tribute:

Just days after Fox's "American Idol" made headlines for their tribute to the late Whitney Houston, the torch is being handed over to another series on the network. "Glee" is at work on a special tribute episode devoted to Houston. According to E! Online, the Fox hit is filming an episode of Season 3 that will include eight songs from Houston's discography.

"Glee" has become known for its tribute episodes. The singing comedy has aired tribute episodes for Madonna, Britney Spears, Michael Jackson and Lady Gaga. However, E! Online reports the Houston tribute will be a bit different. The graduating seniors will be having a hard time saying goodbye and Houston's songs will be used to help drive the character drama. "Glee's" Lea Michele tweeted vaguely about an upcoming tribute.

These tributes have been broke and I'm actually scared of this one. The writers are not strong in this area, so maybe Ryan will jump in?

Glee's Karofsky saved lives... For Real

I don't watch Glee, but this scene did something to me. It was a reminder that many teens are struggling everyday to keep going.

Th good side of my post is how this particular episode of Glee saved lives.

EW reports

 The episode of the Fox hit led to a record number of traffic for the organization’s website and phone number. “What was great about the show is that they worked in conjunction with us so we knew in advance that there was going to in all likelihood be an increase in volume,” says cofounder Peggy Rajski. “What happened was the volume went up about 300 percent, but we were ready.”

Rajski says the Trevor Project toll-free number fielded triple the number of calls normally received, plus a huge online boost. “On average, our site probably attracts about an average of 1500 visits a day,” she admits. “Tuesday we got 10,000. There’s the power of network TV.”

Gay Sex on 'Glee'?

Kurt and Blaine (Great Hera, that name) may be having the awkward teen-aged sex soon.

In TV Line, Chris Colfer had this to say about this week's episode:

TVLINE | What was your reaction when you read the script for this week’s episode, “The First Time?”
Prior to getting the script Ryan approached Darren and I and told us that they were doing a virginity episode, and Darren and I just kind of looked at each other with wide eyes like, “Huh? What?’ And while we always have faith in the writers, we were a little skeptical. But then we got the script and shot it and everything was fine. What I thought could be raunchy and over-the-top was just very sweet and emotional. That’s kind of how it is with Glee. Ryan will come up and tell me they’re [tackling] this big, sensitive issue and I’ll freak out. But then I have no reason to freak out because it’s always handled really well.

TVLINE | Specifically, they wanted to know if you were shirtless during it. I broke the bad news to them that you were wearing a shirt. 
[Laughs] I was totally [prepared] to have to do a shirtless scene. Or at least wear like a tank [top] or something. I even asked if I could wear a tank and they said no.

TVLINE | Did they say why?
I think having two gay guys having sex on television was enough. They didn’t want to [reveal] a bunch of skin on top of it. I was like, “I want to wear a tank! Let me wear a tank!” [Ultimately], I wore a T-shirt.

 Will this be the scene of all scenes? I guess we will know soon.

Meet Glee's Gay Villain

In hopes to up the ratings, Glee will introduce the new 'evil' Warble, Sebastian soon.

Here's his story:

Sebastian is new to Dalton. He's a gay character, obviously, but he's kind of a new type of gay character. He's someone you wouldn't necessarily know is gay unless you asked him, but he'd be the first person to tell you. He's very confident and comfortable with who he is and what he wants. Darren (Criss) was that new confident strong gay character, and Sebastian is taking that a step further. He's a guys-guy, just a dude who happens to be gay. He's a lacrosse player, he's popular. He's after Blaine, obviously, and he's also trying to take the place that Blaine had as the leader of the Warblers. He's been referred to as a villain, which I guess is true in the sense that he's going to get what he wants and he doesn't care who he steps on along the way, but he does so with a smile on his face.

This could be fun or a waste. Y'all let me know.

A Mom Blogs about Her Son's Crush on 'Glee's' Blaine

On the blog "And This is My Blog...", a mother writes about her son's crush on the cute cast member of 'Glee':

My oldest son is six years old and in love for the first time. He is in love with Blaine from Glee.


For those who don’t know Blaine is a boy…a gay boy, the boyfriend of one of the main characters, Kurt.


This isn’t a ‘he thinks Blaine is really cool’ kind of love. It is a mooning at a picture of Blaine’s face for a half hour followed by a wistful “He’s so pretty” kind of love.


He loves the episode where two boys kiss. My son will call people in from other parts of the house to make sure they don’t miss his ‘favorite part.’ He’s been known to rewind it and watch it over again…and force other to, as well, if he doesn’t think people have been paying enough attention.


This infatuation doesn’t bother me or his father. We live in a very hip-liberal neighborhood, many of our friends are gay, and idea of having a gay son isn’t something that bothers either of us. Our son is going to be who he is, and it is our job to love him. End of story.


He is also six. Six year olds get obsessed with all kinds of things. This might not mean anything at all. We always joke that he’s either gay, or we have the best blackmail material in the history of mankind when he’s a 16 year old straight boy. (Take that naked bath time pictures!)


Then the other day we were traveling across the state listening to the Warblers album (of course), and in the middle of Candles, my son pipes up from the back seat.


“Mommy, Kurt and Blaine are boyfriends.”


“Yes, they are,” I affirm.


“They don’t like kissing girls. They just kiss boys.”


“That’s true.”


“Mommy, they are just like me.”


“That’s great, baby. You know I love you no matter what?”


“I know…” I could hear him rolling his eyes at me.

Wow, you go mom!

A Gay Love Triangle on 'Glee'?

Well, it maybe be over before it starts. A new "villain" may cause heartbreak for Kurt and Blaine (Lord, I hate that name). 

Michael Ausiello has the story:

Sources confirm to TVLine exclusively that Glee has tapped up-and-coming theater actor Grant Gustin to play the recurring role of Sebastian, a gay Dalton Academy Warbler who sets his sights on Blaine.

Both Fox and the show’s producers declined to comment, but the buzz is that Sebastian is the polar opposite of Kurt in every possible way. He’s more like the male version of Santana in that he’s both promiscuous and kinda-sorta scheming.

“He’s our villain this season,” an insider tells me. “It’s a major role.”

Maybe this may give "Kurtofsky" a fighting chance?

Glee 3D Flopped and maybe That's a Good Thing

You may hate me for saying this, but I'm glad Glee 3D flopped. I know some of you love this series, but I think it has gotten fat and greedy like heavy set Veruca Salt.

This movie was proof that it's too big for its britches. They really thought this flick would make tons of money. Although, it was very cheap to make (like 9.6 million give or take), the outcome was very telling. No one was willing to pay for something they normally get to watch for free.

It was bold of the Glee peeps to think this would push the series forward. In many ways, this may be the first few nails in the Glee coffin.

But there are other factors that could be driving 'Glee' to 'Heroes' type grave. For one, it's overexposed. Second, the writing is not that serious and the theme episodes are really reaching for it. And third, it's trying too hard to pander to us (gays). 'Glee' uses the Gay stick, like Michele Bachmann saying the word 'Iowa' 46 times in her pre-victory speech at the Iowa State Fair. Just tell the damn story and we will come. No more Gaga/Britney/Silly ass gay diva icon crap. Just tell a goddamn story.


And this movie was the icing on a hot cake. It just melted all over the whole thing. So I hope Ryan and the other Glee peeps take a hard look at this past weekend. Maybe this will get them back to basics and give us the 'Glee' we all deserve.

3 Favorites will Leave 'Glee' at the End of Season 3

Well, it had to happen. Glee regulars Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Chris Colfer will 'graduate' at the end of the 3rd season. THR has the scoop:

Colfer, Michele and Monteith are not going to be back at all for Season 4. Murphy tells THR: "You can keep them on the show for six years and people will criticize you for not being realistic, or you can be really true to life and say when they started the show they were very clearly sophomores and they should graduate at the end of their senior year.”

Murphy added that planning for the future beyond high school will be a heavy theme during Season 3, noting that “more characters are leaving than are staying” when graduation time comes at the season’s end.

I wonder if this will change everything. I guess we will find out, or rather y'all will, I stop watching it. But I could come back.

Chord Overstreet won't be a Series Regular on 'Glee'

If you are a Trout Mouth fan, sorry to tell you that he's kinda out of 'Glee'.

Chord Overstreet‘s series regular option has not been picked up. However, a source close to the show says the actor — who joined the Fox hit last fall in the recurring role of McKinley transfer student Sam Evans — could return as an occasional guest star.


Late Friday, Overstreet issued a cryptic tweet saying, “It’s been a good year. Too bad it’s over. Time for summer and starting fresh.”

Maybe he will land a role on True Blood.
