The Words of Wisdom from Laverne Cox's mother, Gloria

During the GLAAD Awards, Laverne's mother joined her on stage for her award. Later backstage, Gloria had some great words to share with the world, via Access Hollywood.

"Understanding, and praying, and talking, and continuing to talk. And, most of all, love." As for her advice to parents of LGBT children, Gloria said, "Listen. Listen to your children, take note of actions, and talk. Open dialogue…that's the most important thing."
