Unzipped Magazine CAN'T be Trusted

The folks at Unzipped magazine are really up to something. Just recently they have stirred up some interesting issues that make me wonder...Are they on our side?

I mean, they are causing drama left and right in our community and they don't seem to care what the outcome is...unless it sells 1000s of copies.

Here's why I'm feelin' what I'm feelin':

Beau Breedlove-The minute the scandal (he and Sam Adams doing the nasty) hit the streets, Beau was doing interviews and acting all coy. However, it was Unzipped who offered the young fool a chance to tell his story and to "rock out with his cock". Then had the nerve to boast his appearance in their May issue like it was the biggest event of the year.

Micheal Lucas and Brent Corrigan-Unzipped reported some story about Brent rejecting Lucas' offer to be in one of his movies. Once Lucas heard about this, he tried to call the Unzipped folks to clear it up. However, they felt the need to inform Mr. Lucas that Brent will be on the cover of their sister mag, Freshman. Funny...because they told Lucas, knowing there was a feud between them.

I don't what going on, but I have to wonder what they are up to. I know the print media is suffering, but to highlight these drama twinks is quite alarming.

Regent Media, please handle your people. In these questionable times, we need to put our best foot forward. I know Freshman and Unzipped are porn mags, but they can still have some class about them.

Stop the drama, continue the sexy.

Drama at the GayVN Awards

Drama and Mess...pure mess.

At GayVN Awards (the Oscars for Gay Porn), Michael Lucas stormed the stage and complained about, Brent Corrigan being a nominee and presenter. Since Brent has brought so much drama to the biz, Michael feels that Brent has put the industry in some deep mess.

I think he has a point, considering the murder trial and Brent's underage ass screwing on the tube.

Yet, the porn world awarded Brent with 2 awards, making it clear where their heads are. The industry should have taught about that decision. Brent's wins could send a bad message about the gay porn biz. However, they are awarding Brent for his work...which to be honest, ain't all that.

So I think there is more to come, as NG said, the backlash has just begun.

Cuadra found Guilty

A jury in Luzerne County has found accused killer Harlow Cuadra guilty of first-degree murder.

Cuadra was accused of killing Bryan Kocis at his Back Mountain home in January, 2007. Prosecutors said Cuadra and his former lover and business partner, Joseph Kerekes, killed Kocis because he was a rival in their gay pornography business. Kocis' home was torched to cover up the crime.

Kerekes pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in December. He is serving a life sentence. Jurors heard testimony in the case for more than two weeks.

Cuadra took the stand in his own defense Tuesday and Wednesday. He claimed he was innocent and Kerekes was, in fact, the one who killed Kocis.
