Adrianne Palicki cast as Mockingbird in 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'

This is a nice bounce back into the comic book world. After the Wonder Woman pilot fizzed, many folks were worried about Adrianne's career.

However, there was no need. Miss Girl has landed a huge role in Marvel Universe. Adrianne is the fierce Mockingbird.

Now, if you don't know about Mockingbird, here's a quickie. She is a SHIELD agent and an Avenger in the comics. Super good in hand to hand combat, like Black Widow, and the girlfriend of Hawkeye.

So excited for Adrianne, she will be great!

Interesting Quote: Adrianne Palicki

If I get to do one job a year, or if I get to just do my job, even if people don’t get to see it, I’m doing my job and it’s making me happy. I’ve got to just keep fighting through it and do it, and hope that eventually people see what I’m doing. But, I was devastated. Believe me, I was inconsolable for a good two months. And then, I had to realize that I had a Wonder Woman costume fitted for my body. I got to play that part on film. Not many people get to say that, and that’s cool. Maybe I’ll get to do it again, in a bigger arena. Who knows?

Adrianne Palicki talks about the Wonder Woman TV Pilot

After the failure of the Wonder Woman pilot, Adrianne Palicki looks back with good vibes.

The actress had this to say:
I’m incredibly proud of that project. I was so grateful to get to play Wonder Woman. That was a childhood dream of mine and I’m proud of the outcome. I do wish it would have gone to series but everything happens for a reason. Looking at it as a positive, I got to work with some amazing actors, [an] amazing writer and I got to wear the outfit. It was not comfortable but it was totally worth it.
Glad she's in good spirits about the whole thing
