Ever since San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick made his stance about the national anthem and the way people of color are treated in this country, everybody who has no idea about freedom of speech had something to say.
Mostly, fools focused on the "supposed" disrespect of the flag and the U.S. military who fought and died for our freedom.
Well, the soldiers came out in support of my boo, using the hashtag #VeteransForKaepernick
As a naval veteran & Afro-Latino immigrant who suffers from PTSD my brother would stand w/ #VeteransforKaepernick pic.twitter.com/WPMYviJwxF— Saffron the Sadge (@JSoAbove) August 31, 2016
Freedom isn't free. We fight so that you can sit. Don't speak for us. Generational formation. #VeteransForKaepernick pic.twitter.com/6MzfcQjjws— Petty Davis (@StilettoRoyalty) August 31, 2016
I'm with #VeteransForKaepernick because we don't selectively defend one's Constitutional rights. #BlackLivesMatter pic.twitter.com/EGbuh4Cpfx— Vet4Kaep (@OpiniontdBlkGuy) August 31, 2016
I don't agree with all of his points, but I'll fight to the death for his right to say it. #VeteransForKaepernick pic.twitter.com/0jeFlIv5RX— Isaac wright (@I_Zac33) August 31, 2016
