It seems odd to me that Mr. Oliver, a middle-aged man with a family to support, would quit his job and function as George Zimmerman's press agent without receiving money (or the promise of it) from someone. After all, from this interview, it appears that Mr. Oliver really didn't know Zimmerman very well.
What's the point of all of this? Could it be an attempt to influence the grand jury?

Lawrence is tough when it comes to questions. I heard the Zimmerman's father is a Judge. Is this true?

Apparently his father is a retired judge.
