Guess what? Witches are taking over America!

Here's a giggle for the day. At the three-hour "Rediscovering God in America" event, GOP's laughing boys, Newt Gingrich and Mike Huckabee had a field day scaring folks about the lost of Christianity in our country. Then they encouraged more Christians to get involved in politics to protect religion in American life.

But the quote of the day went to Newt when he said:

"I think this is one of the most critical moments in American history. We are living in a period where we are surrounded by paganism."

Really, we are surrounded by witchcraft and pagan stuff? Please, eye of Newt.

Then Mike Huckabee had to throw in his 2 cents, complaining about Obama's speech in Cairo, Egypt.

"The notion that we are just one of many among equals is nonsense. The United States is a "blessed" nation, he said, calling American revolutionaries' defeat of the British empire "a miracle from God's hand."

Wow, I guess this is what happens when you fail as presidential hopefuls and your life sucks. You start blaming everyone for everything.
