Gay Comic Books Geeks: Shatterstar and Rictor KISS!!
Wow, I kind of thought...maybe fantasized about this, but I never thought this would happen!
If y'all ever read
the 90s versions of the New Mutants/X-Factor/X-Force, you know Rictor and Shatterstar.
Rictor is the cute Mexican mutant who can cause earthquakes
Shatterstar is the mysterious refugee from Mojoworld with a cute face and fierce warrior streak.
They came on the scene during my high school years and I'm enjoyed them ever since. Now with this new revelation, I have to go through my old comics to find signs.

They always said Rictor and Shatterstar had a thing back when they were still on X-Force. Like Norhtstar, the powers that be, danced around the issue.
Speaking of Northstar, did he ever hook up with Iceman?
I hope they don't end up saying he was posessed or had a concussion or he's a shapeshifting alien female cos that would SUCK.

@jonathan..it depends on the writer man, remember when they were saying that Northstar was "literally" a fairy to poke fun at his sexuality! If a phobe is writing it, you can bet some things would change!

I'd forgotten about the fairy reference. I remember when Alpha Flight and the X-men teamed up to fight Loki, Rogue kissed Northstar and absorbed his memories, she hinted at his veiled homosexuality. If I can find the quotes, I will send them.
@Ian..Yep I remember that. Funny, from what I understand Byrne always had teh intenttion of Northstar being gay but Marvel wouldn't let it happen.
On another note, the X-Men Asgardian Wars is what got me into comics! A guy in my sixth grade class gave me his New Mutants Annual, illustrated by the amazing Arthur Adams. I read that book and I was HOOKED!! LOL!
Now let's hope Rictor kisses him back.
I knew PAD would someday give us what we wanted with Shatty, but there's a chance he'll make it so it's only Shatty who wants the kiss to happen...
