Interesting Quote: Gene Simmons

He killed his career because now the conversation is not about his talent but about his sexual preference. He's done. I hope I'm completely wrong. I hope he becomes the next Beatles and proves me wrong. Adam was fantastic. What a powerful and attractive man he is. He can come on tour whenever he’d like."

For a man who made his career on face-paint and the length of his tongue, not to mention bragging about his sexual conquests, Gene Simmons is a fine one to talk.

Plus, he sounds like he has a wee man-crush on Adam.

I don't even think so. No one cares about Adam being gay anymore. This is not the 1970's.

@ToddyEnglish--even if it was the seventies, it didn't slow down David Bowie. Let's hope Adam comes out kickin' butt and taking names! No one can really predict who will be popular and who won't. Even talent isn't an accurate gauge anymore. Most of the more iconic and historic musical figures probably wouldn't have faired very well on American Idol.

It didn't hurt Elton John either.
