The Attacks on Amanda Simpson starts in 3...2...1

Well, that didn't take long for the haterade to start.

After Amanda Simpson's historic appointment, the haters are out and about.

Starting with the cretin, Peter LaBarbera, president of Americans for Truth. He asked:
Is there going to be a transgender quota now in the Obama administration? How far does this politics of gay and transgender activism go? Clearly this is an administration that is pandering to the gay lobby."
Then Matt Barber, another charmer, said:
"This isn't like appointing an African-American in order to try to provide diversity and right some kind of discriminatory wrong. This is about political correctness. President Obama, before he was inaugurated, told the world that he had signed off on every single demand of the homosexual-activist lobby."
Really, Matt? That's news to me. I'm sure there's more to come, but this mess will just roll off Amanda's back.

Blergh. Why is it about quota? Some reason she can't meet the needs of a position?

Nah. They are just using the same rhetoric of "Oh no can't have anyone who's not a straight white cis guy getting up in there" to decry the fact that uh... Trans women exist. We're in yoar politricks upgradin yer country. :D

The Teabaggers, Birthers, Flat Earthers, Evangelicals and right wingnut fundementalists are having a hate fest over the Obama Administration. They just can't get over having a black man as President. Just listen to cluster Fox news for one minute if you dare!

V, I'm happy you gave Amanda some press time. She is already undergoing a full scale attack from conservative interests across the nation. can you imagine starting a new, high level position and having to deal with such drivel?
