Students actually sign up for 'Kill all Gays' event

This is disturbing news, y'all. A high school in Mass is under watch after a 'Kill all Gay' event appeared on Facebook.
Police in Chelmsford, Massachusetts are investigating a posting on the Chelmsford High School network on Facebook promoting an event called "kill all gay people." The posting, rife with spelling and grammar mistakes, says, quote, "ever one that s gay dies." The page includes a photo of men hitting someone with sticks and is labeled "Attack on a gay individual in Iraq." School officials discovered the page on Wednesday and requested the investigation, noting at least nine students had signed up to attend the event, purportedly set for January 19th.

Olivia Harvey, president of Gay-Straight Alliance at the school says gay students are fearful of what might happen on Tuesday.

She has advised them to travel in groups that day.

Officials hope the posting is nothing more than a sick joke, but they're certainly not taking it lightly.

Joke or not, this is horrible! I hope there is enough security and teachers standing up for the LGBT students. They need to feel safe as well as protected.

Another crime because of Facebook, how about that.

Meanwhile, I'm banned from Facebook because I have a police record.

I'm just saying...
