Question of the Day

With all of the DADT drama, the semi-poor planning of the march on Washington, failed anti-Prop 8 campaigns and power hungry gay organizations, I have to wonder...

Where and who are our Gay Leaders?

If y'all don't know this guy. He's Northstar, a gay superhero.

That's the thing we don't have any Gay Heroes per say...guess we have to take up the mantle ourselves...

It's funny (not haha) because I don't think we have any gay leaders, but the problem isn't just gay people. I don't think we have any black leaders either. There are some women's rights leaders but not too many.

I feel like that selflessness is missing from a lot of people who want to lead for fame and fortune and not truly because they're devoted to a cause. And then there's people like me who are probably a little apathetic and/or lazy. But I do think there are rumblings and while it may not be one person, a group or an organization may def become the next thing to lead very soon...

We have Peter Tatchell in this country, who's devoted himself not just to gay rights, but human rights too.

Oh geez... Not that I put too much stock into it, of course, but after reading this post I had a disturbing thought...

Perez Hilton is our Rush Limbaugh.
